In an interview by Laura and Jake Scruggs , I yammer incessantly about my 35 years performing , starting in Texas , and ending up in Chicago , getting my first break from Reverend Horton Heat , singing back up vocals with Screamin' Jay Hawkins , making a Rockabilly tape with Clint Strong , future Guitar player for Merle Haggard , almost writing a song with Cordell Jackson , opening for the likes of Kid Congo , The Gories , Johnny Legend , The Legendary Stardust Cowboy , Bloodshot Bill , Davie Allan and The Arrows and '68 Comeback , venues that won't have me back and a scathing critique from Klaus Flouride that changed absolutely nothing.

We got back in touch again , but , did'nt really renew our friendship until he got involved with Roctober magazine. His place in Commerce was THEE party pad . Later , his digs in Chicago , laid out similarly , was the site of Cynthia Plastercaster's Birthday parties for several years. At the last party they gave her , Cynthia made me watch "The Jimi Hendrix Sex Tape" with her for about two hours. She'd made a statement that she believed it WAS Jimi. So did Pamela Des Barres. She really wanted my opinion. I told her I did'nt think it was him at all , and they did'nt show his face that much , anyway , the guy looked completely blotto on acid. And , for all his legendary drug taking prowess , who's ever seen him looking THAT fucked up ? Plus , he even had a stand - in , but...um....whoever he was , he did the work of two men. less
