The Creation packed The Beat Kitchen , two nights in a row , and weeknights at that , though one unscrupulous individual said it could'nt be done , and even refused to let me put this flyer up at the venue. When the show was a huge success , he tried to take the credit , though he's already tried to deep - six teh idea of making it two nights , and had no idea who teh band were , or what a big deal this was.....He got sorted out. Scumbag promotor. Not like you good people , trying to promote bands you love. HE HAS NO ETHICS OR SENSE OF FAIR PLAY, WHICH MEANS HE SHOULD BE A MILLIONAIRE BEFORE HE'S 50.
John Battles
Thanks , Greg. As my friend , Nick , said , "It was BADASS!!!!!".

The Crookshanks are led by Mark Lane , late of The Fuzztones , Michael Bruce Band , and he even joined Thin Lizzy on stage , one time. They reformed recently after a long hiatus. With the exception of The Dyes , Bama Lamas and , to a lesser extent , Heebie Jeebies , The Crookshanks are about the only Garage game in town , when Chicago was once Garage Ground Zero.
