NIGHT BEATS - H-BOMB EP
Reissue of their legendary first EP. With two of the three members hailing from Texas, it won't be a huge surprise that these blues lovers are also seriously influenced by legendary fellow Texans s.a. Golden Dawn, Cold Sun and 13th Floor Elevators. Also suitable for fans of Bo Diddley, Link Wray, Seeds and Black Lips!
DEAN ALLEN FOYD - ROAD TO ATLAS (10")
Swedish psychedelic rock band Dean Allen Foyd released their debut album 'The Sounds Can Be So Cruel' in March 2012. Dean Allen Foyd is now digging even deeper into the the world of psychedelic music with their brand new five-track 10-inch vinyl EP 'Road To Atlas', out March 1st 2013. Track listing: 1. Sadness Of Mankind 2. Insects 3. Leave Me Be 4. Hwy Lost (Revisited) 5. Road To Atlas
DEAD MOON - STRANDED IN THE MYSTERY ZONE
Maybe the hardest to find Dead Moon LP. All kinds of killer songs. Another stone cold classic by the world's greatest rock band. Some call them the thinking man's AC/DC & some call them the working man's Roky Erickson but really there is nothing that compares to Dead Moon. They live in a world of their own - D.I.Y on every imaginable level, brilliant song writing, perfect elemental stripped down playing, honest & intense vocals. It's all here.
DEAD MOON - STRANGE PRAY TELL
One of Dead Moon's all time classics, filled with some of their catchiest & most rousing songs. Rockers of the highest caliber such as 'Destination X', 'Fire In The Western World' & 'Don't Look Back' as well as perfect ballads such as 'You Can't Do That' & 'Out In The Blues'. An utter masterpiece of psychedelic rock straight from the heart. The most requested Dead Moon LP by Mississippi Records store customers!
FOUR SLICKS - FOUR ON THE FLOOR
With origins in other outfits such as the Rip Offs, Loud Mufflers, No Talents and Cavaliers, they combine interests in hot rods, alcohol and wild and demented rockabilly and garage roots like Hasil Adkins, Link Wray, the Traits, the Sabres and a hundred other unknowns. After shows across Europe from Spain to Sweden and a cross-country US tour (with a stop at the Bonneville Salt Flats), they just recorded a new album in their Paris garage, arguably the best yet, with superb cover art by Piko. Time to fill up the 63 Ford with hi-test gas and get on the road for more booze, rock and fun. The Four Slicks: 50's rock'n'roll-punk.
KAAMS - UWAGA!
Following its 2012 CD-release, The Kaams' full length 'Uwaga!' now also appears on vinyl! Twelve tracks from an excellent Italian garage outfit. This mixture of r&b and '60s punk makes you feel like a time machine has thrown you back in time some 45 years.
KING, REGGIE - LOOKING FOR A DREAM
After re-releasing the official 'Reg King' album and 'Missing In Action' E.P., several years ago, Circle Records had every intention of releasing another complete album of the former ACTION-vocalist's original material soon afterwards. However, time passes and things often don't work out as planned. It wasn't before late 2010 that all official permissions were granted, and a further six months before restoration and editing was completed. Recorded between Reggie leaving The Action in 1968 and the end of 1969, these songs feature his former bandmates throughout (still trading as The Action without him). With just one exception, the tracks are full-band, not just acoustic sketches as many demo recordings are. Aside from three tracks rescued from unlikely tape sources and an acetate, the majority are in perfect finished master quality. For some reason, all of this material was left aside when the time came for Reggie's 1971 album. In comparison, they are brighter and more uplifting than that record, not hampered by a similar busy/heavy production. The music ranges from the soulful pop of his Action days, shows influences of jazz and just hints at the progressions yet to come. Nothing is overlong and all tracks show just what a tremendous songwriter the man was. This record bridges the gap between The Action's 'Rolled Gold' and Mr. King's official solo record perfectly. If it had been released as a last Action record, or as a first solo album, maybe Reggie's career and the appreciation for his work would have been even bigger. All 12 tracks are totally unreleased in any format. Presented in a half-laminated flipback sleeve with art that uses a treated, previously unpublished picture to striking effect (one of two in the package). Silver/blue labels inspired by the late '60s United Artists ones (done to pre-date his official album). The double-sided, semi-gloss, colour insert includes descriptive appraisal from renowned writer Kevin Pearce, along with the story of how the album came to be.
LAST KILLERS - 3 BOMBS OVER BERLIN
Finally, here is a vinyl version of the 2007 debut album from these Italian garage rockers! They offer a personal style and powerful mix of garage tinged beat, R'n'R and soul/R&B. Fans of Fuzztones, early Chesterfield Kings, '60 UK mods and US garage monsters s.a. Sonics and Seeds will love this. Limited to 300 handnumbered copies!
NOBUNNY - LOVE VISIONS
Reissue of 2008 release, this time on the Almost Ready label. A popular bubblegum fuzz album from the mysterious NOBUNNY. Nobunny's ability to perform blithesome songs with a maddened grin and frothy smile is no less than brilliant.
OOGA BOOGAS - OOGA BOOGAS
On Australian import vinyl, this is the second album by Melbourne's all-star quartet OOGA BOOGAS, featuring members of EDDY CURRENT SUPPRESSION RING, TOTAL CONTROL, THE ONYAS and THE SAILORS. This s/t set offers a strange blend of lyrical observations on the banality of 21st-century life combined with a musical score which encompasses everything from garage-punk to boogie to synth-heavy new wave. Includes tracks s.a. as 'Sex In The Chill Zone', 'Circle Of Trust' and 'The Studio Of My Mind'.
MISSING LINKS - MISSING LINKS + THE LINKS UNCHAINED 7" EP
Though they have different approaches, a common thread runs through Australian bands like the Saints, Hoodoo Gurus, Midnight Oil and AC/DC: an aggressive, take-no-prisoners posture designed to grab audiences by the throat. This direct crowd-band interaction is essential on the rough-and-tumble Oz pub circuit, where if the group doesnt deliver the goods, theyre likely to go down in a hail of lager cans. Whatever it is that puts the raw in Antipodean rawk, its been there from the beginning. For proof, check the wild, outrageous sounds of the Missing Links. Formed in Sydney in 1964, a series of personnel changes eventually replaced all original members, leaving vocalist Andy Anderson, guitarist Doug Ford, drummer Baden Hutchens, bassist Ian Thomas and Chris Gray on keyboards. It was this lineup that recorded the bands 1965 debut album, The Missing Links. An instant garage punk classic, The Missing Links took the UK R&B combo model and drenched it in attitude and feedback, making contemporaries like the Troggs and the Who appear tame by comparison. The sonic guitar meltdown at the end of "Youre Drivin Me Insane" presages Jimmy Pages Zeppelin liftoff by a full three years while "Wild About You" defies description, except to say it still sounds shocking nearly 50 years on. This slice of vigorous vinyl became one of the most prized acquisitions for garage punk fans the world over, with each successive wave of Down Under musical malcontents spreading its legend. The globe-trotting team at Sundazed has now restored the album in all its magnificent MONO glory! What more could you want? Well, how about the IMPOSSIBLY rare EP, The Links Unchained, featuring four more cuts of mid-Sixties madness!?! For a limited time, Sundazed is offering both of these audacious aural artifacts in one convenient package! TRACK LIST: LP TRACKS: 1. Wild About You 2. Hobo Man 3. Bald-Headed Woman 4. Not To Bother Me 5. Mama Keep Your Big Mouth Shut 6. Some Kinda Fun 7. You're Drivin' Me Insane 8. Nervous Breakdown 9. Speak No Evil 10. On The Road Again 11. All I Want 12. Htuom Tuhs. 7" EP TRACKS: 1. I'll Go Crazy 2. Don't Give Me No Friction 3. One More Time 4. Wooly Bully.
ACTION SWINGERS - MISERABLE LIFE
'Miserable Life' was originally issued on the 1994 CD-only release 'Quit While You're Ahead'. Here it's backed by 'Loosing My Cool' which appears on vinyl here for the first time. Limited to 500 copies.
BARON FOUR - YES I DO/GIRL
Rising from the ashes of Thee Vicars, The Baron Four are a dynamic new combo, drawing influences from mid-60s British Beat and US garage rock in equal measures! Twanging guitars, throbbing bass, pounding drums and frenetic vocals combine to produce the most exciting sound youll hear this year! State Records are proud to offer their debut waxing, captured at the labels in-house custom built 8-track recording facility earlier this year. Limited edition of 500 on super-heavyweight vinyl. Part One of the Sandgate Sound Acetate series.
IRWIN, BOB -& THE PLUTO WALKERS- - COFFIN DRAGGER/ARABESQUE
Vinyl on Colored Wax! Think the true spirit and sound of the 60s exists only in the ring-worn covers and greyed out grooves of your discs from 1967?!? "Coffin Dragger," the second single by Bob Irwin and the Pluto Walkers, will change-and blow-your mind! Specially selected from the musicians new full-length album, The Throwaway Age, this disc is as perfect an encapsulation of a lost era as you will find-a stomping, fuzztone-infected tribute to the legendary biker film soundtracks of decades past, recorded with the same kinds of techniques and energy as the much-coveted originals... "Arabesque" is an audio voyage into a kind of other world where Henry Mancini and Chocolate Watch Band mightve made magic music together in a garage, combining a brilliant melody with a snarling, complex and distorted arrangement, prominently featuring layers of fuzz and a vintage Ace Tone Top-5 keyboard. This performance, a cover of a rare Ventures B-side, was conceived during sessions for a rarities-based tribute album to the group, and is available only on this 45. Both sides of this single were recorded with the nearly forgotten artistry of true 1960s micing and placement, and mixed to authentic monophonic sound. Slide it onto your changer somewhere between your Arrows and Zakary Thaks singles-you will not be disappointed... Fuzzboxes set to stun! TRACK LIST: 1. Coffin Dragger 2. Arabesque.
LA LUZ - CALL ME IN THE DAY/EASY BABY
La Luz came together in the Summer of 2012. The band began with Shana Cleveland (guitar) and Marian Li Pino (drums) (both formerly of the K Records psych rockers the Curious Mystery) and now features Abbey Blackwell on bass and Katie Jacobson on keyboards. The group brings a relaxed beach-babe vibe to their take on the sweet, thick harmonies of 60s girl-group and doo-wop bands. La Luz is driven by thumping, energetic bass lines, danceable surf beats, tembling organ, reverb-soaked guitar, and a wild love of rock'n'roll. The band recorded their first few songs with their friend (and ex- Curious Mystery bandmate) Johnny Goss in a sweaty apartment across from the laundry room in a Bothell, WA trailer park, and called the EP "Damp Face". "Call Me in the Day" and "Easy Baby" are two heartache hits from the "Damp Face" session.
YOUTHBITCH - I'M IN LOVE WITH GIRLS
Wired up geeky garage/opo jams from a Portland, OR based four piece.
VILLAIN, CARMEN - LIFEISSIN
On 12" vinyl, this is the first single taken from Carmen Villain's album 'Sleeper'. Villain draws on a lineage of sprawling, taboo-busting lo-fi rock. Influences include Sonic Youth, Royal Trux, Broadcast, Bikini Kill and The Stooges, while she equally admires the cut'n'paste productions of J Dilla, Wu-Tang Clan and avant garde post-punkers This Heat. Limited edition of 500 copies.
LOVESORES - BUBBLEGUM RIOT (10")
Ten inches of totally glorious punk'n'roll assault from ex-HUMPERS Scott 'DeLuxe' Drake and Jeff Fieldhouse, and members of the Fast Takers and 8 Foot Tender. Six songs that kick your ass and then rock you out of your socks.
BEATLES - THE DECCA TAPES
"Guitar groups are on their way out", was what the biggest fool in rock & roll history wrote to Brian Epstein when he REJECTED the Beatles after listening to this audition tape, recorded at Decca Studios on New Years Day, 1962. Although the boys (with Pete Best on drums) were admittedly still finding their footing here, and the three Lennon-McCartney originals may be no match for 'Love Me Do' (recorded just 10 months later), these 15 songs still have all the makings of a band whose stardom would soon obscure the sun. SIDE A: 1. Like Dreamers Do 2. Money 3. Till There Was You 4. Sheik Of Araby 5. To Know Her Is To Love Her 6. Take Good Care Of My Baby 7. Memphis 8. Sure To Fall - SIDE B: 1. Hello Little Girl 2. Three Cool Cats 3. Crying, Waiting, Hoping 4. Love Of The Loved 5. September In The Rain 6. Besame Mucho 7. Searchin'
BOHEMIAN BEDROCKS - BOHEMIAN BEDROCKS
Recorded in 1984 in New York City, this wax captures the live vibe of one of garage's best kept secrets, The BOHEMIAN BEDROCKS. When Bobby Belfiore (formerly of The Purple Onion) moved to NYC from D.C. in the Summer of '84, he met up with Orin Portnoy (formerly of The OUTTA PLACE), Elan Portnoy (the FUZZTONES, the HEADLESS HORSEMEN) and Ira Elliot (the FUZZTONES, NADA SURF) to form the group. Ultimately changing their name to The Optic Nerve, the band existed for just a few months before Ira and Elan left for Europe with the FUZZTONES. In that brief period, they played several high-octane gigs and recorded these never-before-released tunes on a 4-track in the FUZZTONES' rehearsal space. From dark, sizzling psych-punk and wylde garage-beat, to ravin' r'n'b and jangly folk rock, from the 13TH FLOOR ELEVATORS and the EYES to the Q65 and the BYRDS, it's all in here. You just have to grab it!! Tracklist: Side 1 : 1. You're really think you're someone 2. You're too much 3. I was alone 4. Wish we never met 5. She lives in a time of her own. SIDE 2: 1. I got nightmares 2. Declaration of independence 3. Ain't that a man 4. I'll give you lovin' 5. I see the truth.

FEELING OF LOVE - REWARD YOUR GRACE
Since its beginning, The Feeling Of Love evolved from a one-man-band playing minimal and nihiliste garage blues with a no wave borrowing, to a trio still in the garage vibe but with more complexity and stronge krautrock and psychelic influences. The band, mostly based in Metz (France), comes from the mind of Guillaume Marietta, who was joined by Seb Normal and Sebastien Joly for their first studio album released through Born Bad Records in april 2011. DISSOLVE ME (also released on Kill Shaman Records in USA) is the band's kraut space garage manifesto. Songs stretch out, the drums go more tribal, the synth hammers out his keys on an infinite highway, and the guitar gets lost in delay pedal's fog. One thinks Suicide, Spacemen 3, The Velvet Underground, Can, Syd Barrett. After countless shows all over Europe and two tours in U.S.A., sharing the stage with bands such as Ty Segall, Thee Oh Sees, White Fence, The Intelligence, Girls, Strange Boys etc., The Feeling Of Love will release early 2013 a new album titled REWARD YOUR GRACE. Even if the songs keep their psychedelic and melancolic garage essence, the band re-think their music by exploring shoegaze and pop territories. REWARD YOUR GRACE is a much more light full records, more accomplish but never steady. Something between psyche pop balades and long sound tracks of trance disturbed by sonic blasts.
IRWIN, BOB -& THE PLUTO WALKERS- - THE THROWAWAY AGE
As a renowned producer and the driving force behind the seminal reissue label Sundazed Music, Bob Irwin has been responsible for bringing a dizzying amount of vintage instrumental rock n roll to fans around the globe. Now, as lead guitarist and composer of the Pluto Walkers, the lifelong guitar obsessive and walking encyclopedia of musical knowledge adds his own distinctive creative vision to the pantheon of effortlessly cool instrumental combos. On the Pluto Walkers debut album The Throwaway Age, the multitalented foursome delivers a dazzling dose of scintillating surf/drag/sci-fi/exotica nuggets that are as imaginative as they are catchy, looking to the future while conjuring up the playful warmth of the 50s and 60s instrumental classics that originally captured Irwins imagination as a fan. Indeed, the Pluto Walkers pull off the tricky task of channeling their far-flung influences into music thats fresh and original, merging insistent guitar hooks with all manner of inventive arrangements and ear-tickling sonic embellishments. The resulting album delivers a one-of-a-kind musical experience thats effortlessly fresh and original, yet firmly rooted in the unpretentious musical values that Irwin has consistently championed in his work with Sundazed. Behind its snazzy faux-movie-soundtrack cover art, The Throwaway Ages sonic smorgasbord encompasses dragstrip swagger, board-busting surf stylishness, swinging sitar-jangle, biker-flick punch and international intrigue. Also featured on the album are four memorable tracks by the Pluto Walkers mysterious alter-ego outfit El Futuro Sonidos, who offer moody, lilting acoustic textures with a Latin touch and a tropical twist. MESSIS, PAUL - CASE CLOSED
'Case Closed' is the second long-play album by underground sensation Paul Messis; following the tradition of Messis' earlier works, Case Closed is the LP which confirms his place in the arena of garage punk legend. Following a slew of 45rpm singles and a critically acclaimed debut album, 'Case Closed' continues where Paul's debut left off, giving the listener an exceptional slice of reality and a deep insight into the thoughts of his generation using cleverly written prose-like lyrical meanderings and existential themes. 'Case Closed' is an outsider album-outsiders usually pinpoint societies faults with little effort whatsoever, the same applies in regards to Messis and the album you're reading about, meandering through the sounds of savage garage punker, gentle jangling folk-rock and melancholic ballads, giving the listener a wholesome and varied experience. Limited edition of 500 on 180gram vinyl in front-laminated flipback sleeve.
