CAVE DWELLERS - RUN AROUND (2X7")
Recorded in 1967 at Chicago's Universal Studios and laboriously laden with Buckinghams-style horns and strings, the Cave Dwellers thought theyd locked their first hit down. Given just a few minutes to produce a B-side, the quintet unleashed their primitive and theretofore-unheard power. 'Run Around' ended up a punk precursor that took contemporary rock to its tough, angry, and logical conclusions, scorching past anything the radio ran in its day. Intending only to tear off something fast and easy, the Dwellers had achieved one of Chicago garage rock's most ferocious moments. That original Jim-Ko single has been reproduced alongside two previously unissued rockers and housed in a glorious gatefold sleeve with copious notes and quotes from a confused newsman about the "longhair" invasion.
GLI AVVOLTOI - GIANNI/NON VOGLIO PIETA
A great Come back from one of Italys Beat icon of the 80s: Moreno Spirogi. The Sixties Beat Italiano had a very strong scene and Morenos bad, Gli Avvoltoi were one of thefirst and best acts, surronded by other fine acts like Gli Sciacalli,I Barbieri above all. Gli Avvoltoi released two fine albums on Contempo records and a handful of singles. The New line up presents many of the old tracks along with new brilliant compositions, more influenced by UK freakbeat and late Beat sounds than the early sounds. This single is the perfect example. Beat, Psychedelia, Freakbeat but also very POP sounding, being,as in the best Avvoltoi tradition fresh, happy and deep at the same time.

MYSTERES, LES -FT. MARISKA VERES- - 4 TRACK EP
In 2009 a 'mysterious' 7" acetate was found in the archives of a long defunked recording studio. After some extensive research the mystery was revealed and it was found that the recordings on the acetate where made by a Dutch beat-group from The Hague who had one 'Mariska Veres' in their rankes. As we all now by now (the late) Mariska Veres was the lead singer of SHOCKING BLUE who reached world-wide fame with their hit 'VENUS'. So all SHOCKING BLUE aficionados should pay attention. These are the earliest recordings made by Mariska as singer for LES MYSTERES from The Hague 1964. The sound recordings from the acetate were professionally treated and restored to what's presented here on this 4 tracks EP. Mariska is featured on vocals on 2 of the 4 tracks. The EP is housed in a nice picture sleeve with insert and info on Mariska's career before she joined SHOCKING BLUE in 1968.

ABSTRACTS - HEY, LET'S GO NOW
The Abstracts from Long Island, N.Y. are best known for their classic song 'Always, Always'. As one of the first US bands to create an American answer to the British Invasion, their songs were already written and a master plan already in the works when the Beatles started their meteoric rise in the US. But like many of the first wave UK beat bands, The Abstracts were together only for a little more than two years and split when rock and roll moved into a direction that wasn't theirs. Though during this short period, with their storming and ingenuous beat, they recruited a huge following and accomplished a great deal. They were one of the first bands to utilize a light show and besides their sole 45, their legacy contains a cache of unreleased period recordings, some of them made for Columbia Records in 1964. Finally, over four decades later, this album collects the bands entire studio material alongside two excellent sounding live tracks. An in-depth insert with a wealth of never-before-seen-photos traces the history of the band that brought "Abstractmania" to the New York area in the sixties. It's a pleasure to celebrate the return of The Abstracts and hear them shout again, 'Hey, Lets Go Now'. Tracklist: 1. Always Always (7" Version 1965) 2. Don't Listen To What They Say (Columbia Demo) 3. Gone Away (Columbia Demo) 4. Without Her (Columbia Demo) 5. Suffer (Columbia Demo) 6. Baton Girl (7" A-Side 1965) 7. Always Always (Ultra Sonic Studios Demo 1964 ) 8. Gone Away (Ultra Sonic Studios Demo 1964) 9. Pipeline (Columbia Demo 1964) 10. Your Love (Unreleased Live 1964) 11. Always Always (Unreleased Live Recording 1965).

INDIKATION - IN TERMS OF THE INDIKATION
Long awaited album after a few cool singles on Larsen Recordz and Screaming Apple. As authentic as can be, their sound captures the essence of the early mid-european sound and excitement as only a few bands can do. Only very few bands can cover the Zombies as good as they can.
POETS (ITALY) - SURREALISTIC RAIN
Strongly influenced by pop icons as the Beatles and lots of other 60s band without copying them. Their style is distinctly beat inspired, more than any other band today, they're are young, talented, classy and truly devoted to the vibes of 60s pop. Since their debut "When you were by my side' they've become more psychedelic, using unexpected sound sources like viola, electric piano and hammond organ. Simple but great songs by young, unknown poets, songs about stolen moments, little girls, shy loves and leaves lying on a car.
RINGERS (60S) - LET THEM BE KNOWN

SICK ROSE - BLASTIN' OUT
The Long awaited new album by Italy's finest garage band of the 80's is finally done. Mastered by Dom Mariani of the legendary Stems in Australia, the album features fantastic new compositions in pure Powerpop style, mixed with the usual sixties/garage flavor that distinguish the band since twenty years now. In fact it's 20 long years from their brilliant debut "Faces" (planned to be reissued on Teen Sound records sometime by this fall...) produced by Claudio Sorge' seminal garage label, Electric Eye Records. Their songwriting has become incredibly professional and the awesome packaging will definitely capture as well as their new music. If you like Powerpop and sixties garage, strong harmonies, Rickembacker guitars, swirling organ..well, that's thee album you were waiting for...an unique chance to...blast out! The Sick Rose are definitely back in town.
