BEES, THE - VOICES GREEN & PURPLE/TRIP TO NEW ORLEANS
Since its original release in October 1966, the Bees' deadly, psychotic 'Voices Green And Purple' has been shrouded in mystery. It's believed only 250 copies were pressed, making it a holy grail for '60s garage/punk/psych collectors. Now, at long last, The Bees have been unmasked (see their story in Ugly Things #34) and in collaboration with singer/bassist Robbie Wood, here's a repress (600 copies) of the single. Pure 100% analogue mastering from the cleanest vinyl source, personally supervised by Robbie (who is now a professional sound engineer) for the most authentic, true-to-the-original sound. The picture sleeve reproduces the wild, mega-cool original artwork in front with liner notes on the reverse.

    VARIOUS - FADING YELLOW 1 (2LP)
DOUBLE-LP! 'Fading Yellow Volume 1'. 1995 saw the release of the original 'Fading Yellow' LP, numbered edition of 330 copies which sold out fast. Nine of the trax from that LP made it onto the 2002 'Fading Yellow, Volume 1' CD. So to promote this 10 year anniversary this limited edition double LP (500 numbered copies) is released, including new photos and improved sound. Beautiful fully laminated gatefold sleeve. Pressed on 160-gram thick virgin vinyl, housed in black polylined innersleeves. Considered perhaps the best comp ever made in this genre. Tracklist : A1. KATE - Strange Girl 3,04 A2. EXPECTED - 2012.50

    BEATERS - FISHAGE
Finally, after years of being talked about as the best band in San Diego, after great 7-inch releases on Volar and Zoo Music, after a national tour with the Soft Pack, BEATERS finally release their debut LP, 'Fishage'. Started after the demise of legendary punk/garage/soul barnstormers THE SESS (and sharing members with ALE MANIA), this pre-apocalyptic, mutant-punk act delivers eight white hot tracks! Recommended!

BLACK KEYS - ATTACK & RELEASE
Their 2008 album produced by Dangermouse. LP edition including CD.

CHEATER SLICKS - REALITY IS A GRAPE
Five years after 2007's 'Walk Into The Sea', here's the next Cheater Slicks album on vinyl. The journey of virtually all young garage-punks should start with an apprenticeship with the Master Tradesmen of the profession, the Cheater Slicks!

DESTINATION LONELY - KISS OR KICKS
A delightful serving of proto-punk, frat-garage-pop, tropical shuffle, and B-movie and spaghetti-surf worship, delivered by members of respected French garage rockers THE FATALS.

    JOHNSON, FLETCHER C. - SALUTATIONS
FLETCHER C. JOHNSON was in a band with KING TUFF way back when and also did time in King Tuff's backing band. Expect a lethal dose of great rockin' soul action! Edition of 500 copies.

NATURAL CHILD - HARD IN HEAVEN
The 2012 full-length offering from Nashville's NATURAL CHILD is chock full of super sick southern boogie garage-rock'n'rollers. Edition of 500 copies.

    OBNOX - SMOKE WOODY HAZE
An 8-song mini album from Lamont 'Bim' Thomas of THIS MOMENT IN BLACK HISTORY, BASSHOLES and PUFFY AREOLAS. This appealing collection sounds like a mixture of garage-rock, '76 punk and Motown, with Guided By Voices-like song writing.

    SAM FLAX - AGE WAVES
An amazing album of future glam rock'n'roll action. Edition of 1.000 copies.

    VARIOUS - IT'S BOSS MAN!!
18 slabs of cool 60's USA garage thumpers with a soulin' attitude!. Limited ed. 500 copies, housed in perfect artwork. Including: J.T. And The Three Wisemen / East Coast Journeymen / The Pigeons / Royal and The Shades / The Sweet Soul Six / The New Sensations / Dean Carter Sound / Jefferson Lee / Anthony and The Aqua Lads / S.O.S. VARIOUS - WORLD IS LOUSY WITH IDEAS, VOL. 8
Back in print. Volume 8 features trascks from VIVIAN GIRLS, BLANK DOGS, TIMES NEW VIKING, INTELLIGENCE, SIC ALPS, THEE OH SEES, TYVEK and more. Each band designed their own screen-printed cover.

VEGETARIAN CANNIBALS - BEFORE THE FACT
FINALLY! If there ever need be an approximation for the late '80s equivalent to the suburban teen garage phenomenon of 'Back From The Grave' and the rawest of 1960s garage-punk bands, this is it. 'Before The Fact' was originally released on cassette in 1990, in a micro-pressing of lord knows how few copies. These three teens holed up in Grosse Pointe, MI and released one of the most unadulterated, punk statements ever laid to tape. This stunning collection was recorded on a single condenser microphone via boombox. It features covers of the Beatles' 'Helter Skelter' and the Butthole Surfers' 'Gary Floyd', as well as unparalleled original songs attacking MTV, drug testing, conformity and all other sorts of harbingers of teen hate.

    WIGGINS - MYTH OF MAN
Born in Cleveland, OH, Jon Read has dedicated years to perfecting his unique perception of a deformed rock & roll. This record stands as a model for the current state of DIY forays into surf and garage. Recorded over the course of a week in an antique bathtub, Read has pushed his mix of drenched pop and white noise into shape of its own. Imagine '60s punk icons The Monks gone EDM or the Jesus & Mary Chain being played through your brother's Fisher-Price boombox. Must be special!
