GRITS 'N GRAVY - CAT LEE KING VS MIGHTY MIKE OMD (10")
Debut release by the brandnew two-piece Grits'n Gravy. The title of the album is Cat Lee King vs. Mighty Mike OMB! You might have seen Mighty Mike doing his one-man-band thing or causing trouble as the drummer/singer of Voodoo Rhythm recording artists The Juke Joint Pimps, but you sure do not know about Cat Lee King. The King is a skinny 20 year old rock & roller (looking like 17) living in the hill country east of Cologne. He plays a mean piano and has a voice that knocks you out. No idea where he gets it from, but he has the soul of Ray Charles and the mean attack of Bunker Hill. This guy is going to be a star! Remember: you heard him here first! The guys spent a day in the studio and the resulting 8 track will be released on a nice 10". Expect covers of tunes by Bunker Hill, Gary US Bonds, Nick Curran, J. Starkes (of Nightriders fame), Dickie Thompson (amazing version of 13 Women) and Larry Williams as well as two original tunes - Little Devil Talking is simply killer! You are going to witness a Rhythm & Blues Battle of Epic Proportions!

HOLOGRAMS - FOREVER
Though matured and experienced, the band's youthful energy and DIY/punk upbringing is still upfront and in full effect.
KING KHAN & HIS SHRINES - IDLE NO MORE
LP with download. King Khan's 2013 "masterpiece" is named after an indigenous-rights movement that is happening right now.
LEWIS, BLACK JOE - ELECTRIC SLAVE
The third full length release from Austin, TX's garage-rock/soul artist Black Joe Lewis, and the first under just his name. Here Black Joe Lewis truly perfected his raw shouting and gritty guitar riffs, honing his trademark sound.
As a follow up to the CD release, Gearfab now proudly presents this obscure album on beautiful 180-gram vinyl and with a thick board LP-jacket, an exact replica of the original 1966 Ashwood sleeve. Although these guys originated from Connecticut, they became one of the hottest opening acts in Boston in 1967, playing many of that city's best and most popular venues. Their versions of these cover tunes are better than the originals!
SHADOWS OF KNIGHT - SHADOWS OF KNIGHT
Three years gone from their massive hit 'Gloria', only one original member remained in the band, lead singer Jim Sohns. Thinking the world wasn't done with him yet, he assembled a band and inked a deal with the hit-makers Jerry Kasenetz and Jeff Katz and cut a record, which produced one final hit for the group in 'Shake' and this self-titled LP. A bit of a hit chasing LP, its all over the map stylistically, from the expected snotty R&B to psychedelic excursions to hard rock to pop. Although this might sound off-putting at first, the album rewards with repeated listens as the record has some of the best songs of the Shadows Of Knights' brief career. Reissued here on LP by Cherry Red Phonograph. Side 1: 1. Follow 2. Alone 3. Times And Places 4. I Am What I Am 5. Uncle Wiggley's Airship 6. I Wanna Make You All Mine Side 2: 1. Shake Revisited '69 2. I'll Set You Free 3. Under Acoustic Control 4. Bluebird 5. Back Door Man

TOWERBROWN - COUNT ME OUT
TOWERBROWN, founders of the "Rhythm'n'Blues Organisation" and one of the leading suppliers of the big, fat Hammond beat return with a bang! Four years and two sold out 45s ('Let's Paint It Brown' and 'I Wanna Know') after they first started, the French foursome finally releases its debut-album 'Count Me Out'. Heavily influenced by American r'n'b and soul, British beat and the wylde and weird Hammond organ jerk, the four Frenchies invite you to a journey through time, back to the Swingin' London-era of the sixties.
TRUE SONS OF THUNDER - STOP AND SMELL YOUR FACE
The 2013 full length by this garage-punk unit from Memphis, including The Oblivians' Eric Friedl (also Bad Times and Goner Records). Rocks like a brick house! Check out their awesome a Duran Duran/Black Oak Arkansas medley, which already is a massive live fave.
