     LP (Album)

BEALE STREET SHEIKS - CHICKEN YOU CAN ROOST BEHIND THE...
...Moon". "The Beale Street Sheiks" was the moniker used by Memphis guitar duo Frank Stokes and Dan Sane for their Paramount recordings (made in Chicago in 1927 and 1929). Stokes (1887-1955) was one of the earliest Memphis bluesmen, and his distinct vocal and guitar style, has been imitated by many bluesmen since. Not only did he have a truly distinct style, but his repertoire was one of the most enormous and diverse in the history of blues, and his songs have become a living history of a bygone era. Although W.C. Handy is often cited as the father of Memphis blues, many scholars believe Frank Stokes to be its true originator. Track listing - Side A: 1. You Shall 2. Its A Good Thing 3. Sweet To Mama 4. Half Cup Of Tea 5. Beale Town Bound 6. Last Go Round 7. Jazzin the Blues 8. You Shall 9. Its a Good Thing 10. Mr. Crump Dont Like It Side B: 1. Chicken You Can Roost Behind the Moon 2. Blues in "D" 3. Ain't Goin to Do Like I Used To Do 4. Hunting Blues 5. Rockin on the Hill Blues 6. Fillin in Blues, Pt. 1 7. Fillin in Blues, Pt. 2 8. Wasnt That Doggin Me 9. Jumpin on the Hill.

BLACK KEYS - RUBBER FACTORY (PD)
NOW AVAILABLE ON PICTURE DISC VINYL!!! The second Fat Possum album from Akron, Ohio guitar-and-drum, delta blues-infused duo the BLACK KEYS. Thirteen tracks of gritty, soul-fired, blues-rock magic, kicked with primal rhythms, hot licks, and a lovesick attitude.

BLACK LIPS - LET IT BLOOM
Higher price! While still skuzzy and raw, this LP contains their catchiest and most melodic moments to date. If Royal Trux had listened to the Troggs instead of the Rolling Stones, they might sound like this (though the album does sound quite Stonesy at times). "The Black Lips are the only current garage band that matters." - Mick Collins "Like Creedence crossed with gauze-wrapped early 90s garagists the Mummies." - Village Voice "Think 70s sloppy punks like Flipper or The Germs bashing out some 60s garage from the Nuggets series. This is punk on the front porch - damaged rock for damaged people." - Alternative Press.

    HUMAN ZOO - HUMAN ZOO
THE HUMAN ZOO For the first time since its original release in 1970, an exact reissue of The Human Zoo album, taken from the original master tapes, with all album artwork faithfully replicated! As was the case with label-mates The Human Expression, The Human Zoo were also from the Los Angeles suburbs of Westminster and were also signed to Accent Records. (In fact, the connection between the two bands is greater still, as the Human Zoo were managed by Jim Foster of The Human Expression). The Human Zoo were originally called The Circus; they changed their name to the hipper sounding Human Zoo in 1969. Their album from the following year was pressed in limited numbers and has become a mega-rare collectors item. And what of it? The Human Zoo album is a surprising and quirky blend of psychedelic (trippy), garage (fuzz-guitar), and funky music. The musical diversity, once the cause of some people's griping, is the record's greatest asset in this age of one song downloadable wonderment. The band had chops, could put together a really good song, and did so repeatedly on this sole album. This replica LP edition is limited to 500 copies.

IDOL LIPS - TOO MUCH FOR THE CITY
Kick-ass "retro" Dead Boys, NY Dolls, KBD-style punk-rock band from the Rome area. Their first record is this (long) mini album with 9 songs produced by Italian legendary punker and producer Alex Vargiu (Bloody Riot, Stigma, Bingo etc.)! Killer shit!

MOJOMATICS - YOU ARE THE REASON FOR MY TROUBLES
LP+CD. The Mojomatics do not disguise their love and admiration for the musical forefathers. They celebrate them. The melodic structures of The Byrds and The Kinks, the interplay of the primal and the delicate often found in early Rolling Stones and electric Dylan records and finally the musical DNA that its all based on - Folk and Blues - its all here. 'You Are The Reason For My Troubles' hits your heart with its authentic soul and the analog taste. The vintage touch can be seen everywhere: from the wholly analog recordings to the cover artwork. The Mojomatics spent three years working on the songs presented here. The majority of time and effort were dedicated to discarding tracks that watered down the bitter sweet essence of the record. Often times one gets the impression 'You Are The Reason For My Troubles' is less of an album and more of a singles collection that spans a 20 year career.

RAGAZZI DAI CAPELLI VERDI - INSIEME TUTTI NOI
Last copies! Unreleased recordings from the historic italian 60s beat band (ex Rangers Sound)! Recorded in the mid-80s with the "spirit" of their sixties stuff and never released until now! A different version of these recordings were published on Contempo Records in the late 80s, but they were the English-sung version not the Italian one like these!!! Limited to 500 copies only, great full color sleeve, with nice color insert!

    ROYALS (ITALY) - SINGOLI
Last copies! This is the story of one of most underrated Italian sixties beat band. They did 3 singles from 1966 to 1968, all collected here (including a cool cover version, sung in Italian, of Simon & Garfunkels "Mrs.Robinson".), with a previously unreleased 1965 acetate song, all from the official masters!!!

SIC ALPS - LONG WAY AROUND TO A SHORT CUT
The new, first-time-ever-on-vinyl 2xLP reissue is somehow a "greatest hits" of the golden not-quite-decade of Sic Alps. Their music is the bright, surging sound of ye olde rock & roll radio (and the garages that tuned in), but heard through air darkened with specks of nameless obstruction. Originally issued as a CD in 2008. It collected songs that were first issued throughout the epic years of 2006 & 2007 on two 12" EPs, three 7" singles and a cassette, plus a song from a compilation CD-R and a song released nowhere else but on the ALWATAS compilation.

HATE Records exclusive! The first album by the new DON HOWLAND band (Gibson Bros, Bassholes etc.)! Its a killer bluesy-psychedelic experience with the great, unique, personal Don Howland touch and style. This seems to be his better recorded (I mean, still raw but not "low-fi".) album!
