This 7-inch is, in the long-standing tradition of Helen Love X-mas tracks, a bit depressing but in a fun way. Ricardo Autobahn is a member of the legendary band The Cuban Boys, who were one of John Peel's favourite bands and had a single on Damaged Goods back in 2000, as well as the top 5 hit 'Cognoscenti Vs. Intelligentsia'. He's also part of Rikki And Daz who hit the top 20 with 'Rhinestone Cowboy', which actually featured Glen Campbell on it and in the video too.

The debut release from a new band featuring Dan Melchior and his wife, Letha Rodman-Melchior, joined by Russell Walker of the English post-punk band The Pheromoans. According to the label's promo campaign, this single offers "drollery of the highest Anglo-Saxon order". All profits will go to the treatment of Letha, who was diagnosed with melanoma and breast cancer in 2010.
