Sorry to hear about Dick Clark's passing. His "Dick Clark's Caravan of Stars" brought me great musical memories each summer at Asbury Park, NJ's Convention Hall, with groups including The Righteous Brothers, Jay and the Americans, and Sonny and Cher. And his TV show, "Where the Action Is," brought me Paul Revere and the Raiders, with great songs like "Hungry" and "Kicks," which our NJ band The Beachnuts (Iconoclastic Life/Nature's Company) covered very well! All of the music he brought to my musical life had a great influence on my garage band days as drummer with the Beachnuts.
