So I was walking towards the fence. . hawaiian drifter uke blowing through the palm trees. . and all of a sudden. . a speedboat ! SLAM. right in the kisser. "came out of nowhere ! " I think to myself the next day while pondering the day-dream. Away, far-far-away, he goes -- with my slackline in both hands. gotta find my new slice of cheese, easy enough though. Not far-out at sea, my yacht is being attacked by the natives, I observe. I move the tiny umbrella out of the way with my finger so it doesn't slide up my nose when I take a new sip of my martini and forget about the yacht. I'm just 52 and my life is already more than halfway over. they say you only really experience life during those last few moments you have before you die when you realize every second, since the time you were born, you were experiencing life. maybe you had a small role in the "great scheme of things" but it was big to you, and never-the-less, for once in your life, just as important as any other role. And now it's time to get lost in the evening paper.
