With a vintage aesthetic and vision, "The Omelettes" began to take shape in mid-2008 in Adrogue, Buenos Aires, Argentina. After some changes in their initial formation between September 2009 and February 2010, they recorded their 1st eponymous album.

In October 2010 won the "Pop Eye Award" to the best South American band, receiving the reward in Caceres, Spain and then performing on stages in this country and England.
