If you like loud, blown-out, fuzzy, garage punk, this record is right up your alley. We hear a lot of early Mudhoney and U-Men influence in these songs as well. Somehow this record is at once atavistic and moves the genre forward a step or three.
Recently, Red Hex was shouted out by Tarek Wegner from the Night Beats during an interview in Rockstar Motel. If Negative Fun Records wasn’t releasing this record, it appears he would be.
