Finally pals, it’s Episode #14 of Rat Surf Radio. This one starts out with a killer tune by garage greats The Brood and then goes right into a little bit of a history lesson for ya on early 80's LA punk rock. Female fronted Legal Weapon and the Alley Cats were both bands that I saw quite frequently, most often at the Whisky A Go-Go on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. Both were great bands that never failed to deliver the goods. Next up I've laid down some tracks from four bands that I actually saw at the same gig at the infamous Starwood, also located in Hollywood. As you can imagine, that was one wild show! Don't worry, after the punk rock segment, I move into a heavy rotation of your favorite garage and surf tunes. Thanks for listening, make sure you spread the love on yer favorite social network and please, leave me a comment here and/or on Facebook!
