Just putting this out there for all you fellow freaks, but I was wondering how y'all feel about the way in which bands of higher caliber always seem to fly below the proverbial raydar? It seems almost a slight on pop cultures taste, as it has continued to slide into the murky depths of bad pregenerated pop and pompas, over produced, under thought, rap "music". Gone are the days of good music flowing on the charts and surfing on the radio waves, and thank Lucifer for sites like this that help to gather together the flag flyers of a better time and a sweeter musical taste. Some people may call me an elitist, or arrogant; however I feel that its our duty to spread the word, and that word is love. Love of a higher consience, not one of muddled consumerism.
Well enough of my drabble, lets get down to the heart of my question. Do all you out there feel that "Our" music is better because of its "stealth" status, or would the world be a better place if that music was the music of modern popular culture. In my opinion it seems that the latter is the way that would make my day, but that's not the point, the point of this question is to weigh in all of your beautiful thoughts!
