Way back at the start of the this year, I set up a playlist that would collect the 25 most played songs that I added to my iTunes in 2007. I did this mostly so that I could look back and see what really caught my ear, and as sort of a companion to my monthly lists of what I had the urge to drop and drag into my play list for each month.
I would love to say that these are really my top songs of the year, but I can’t honestly do that, because some of them were added and played several times early on in the year, while others have been in rotation for the last couple of months.
For instance I suspect that if the A Cool Sound Outta Hell album had been released earlier in the year, more tracks would have been in the top 25 and with more plays. I also have to note that because of my having moved at the end of August from a living and working situation where I had more time to play tunes that the counts for the last couple of months might be skewed, as I have been listening to stuff in the car and not while walking or biking to work on my iPod, and because I live with other people, I am less often finding time to myself where I can just listen to stuff….. and really… what ever.
So here is it the top 25 most completed plays from my computer and iPod of tunes added in 2007..
