I'd like to put together a tribute compilation for Pussy Riot. I was relieved to hear the news that Nadya Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina are to be freed. The rumors were confirmed on the website of the Voice Project (http://voiceproject.org/your-voice/2013/12/09/pussy-riot-to-be-freed/), which administers the Pussy Riot Support Fund (http://voiceproject.org/pussyriot/). If you have a track that fits this theme and you would like to have it included on the comp, please contact me. Things are moving fast in this case so I would need the tracks as soon as possible.
I plan to release this compilation as a free download under a Creative Commons license for non-commercial purposes. Under an Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs Creative Commons license, explained at http://creativecommons.org/licenses/. If you contrbute a track you are not giving up any rights to it. You are only agreeing to let me use it specifically for this project. I will have a few CD copies pressed, but I'm not selling anything. I plan to give copies to the contributing bands, the Voice Project, and, of course, to the members of Pussy Riot. I will produce cover art and write liner notes to put it all in context. I will include any message you wish to add and provide links to your work. Thanks.
