Summer of 1976, garage rock icons The Fleshtones have been blending rock & roll with rhythm & blues, and garage with dance, serving it up from town to town across the globe with a smile, a great attitude, and lots of late-night sweat. On Friday night, October 14th, they will bring their very special brand of "Super Rock" to Austin at Uncle Billy's Lake Travis for their only Texas date for the remainder of 2011.
Opening the show will be Austin's own The Ugly Beats, direct from their tour of Spain. The 'Beats will present a selection of their greatest hits, including songs from MOTOR!, their latest release on Get Hip Recordings.
Presented by Uncle Billy's Brew & 'Que Lake Travis, in association with Mal Thursday's Texas Tyme Machine. Mal will serve as MC and DJ for the evening.
