The Dark Rags:
The Dark Rags is a newly formed Garage Punk band from Athens, Greece formed unofficially in May 2010 for a one-off support show to a fellow band...and decided to keep it going right after. The Dark Rags went in the studio in September and self released the following month their debut "Drunken Angel EP".
The Dark Rags, not being strangers to the scene, all former members of well known Athens underground bands, quickly started gaining attention through their energetic gigs and the EP.
With influences spanning from the Sunnyboys to Social Distortion, via Johnny Thunders and Reigning Sound, The Dark Rags are best described as a garage band with a diverse set spanning from catchy pop tunes to heartbroken junky ballads and in-your-face straight up Rock 'N' Roll!
The Dark Rags are currently in the studio recording their debut full length album which is set to be released after the summer!
