The Polymorphines are a five piece garage-rock band influenced by late 60s and early 70s Rock N' Roll. This band is for those who love the twangy AND the jangly! A sonic and visual incarnation of everything that is cool about Rock N' Roll and that seems somewhat lost in today's current music trends.
"Uniting the worlds of trashy garage rock with a deeper interest in indie rock's more appealing melodies and approach to craftsmanship, Ottawa, ON's Polymorphines create an ingeniously hook-filled and inspiring affair with the grammatically-insulting 'Transistor Sistor'."

OWL FARM:
Alan Cross of ExploreMusic said Kingston ON’s Owl Farm “sounds like The Ramones having fun in a garage”. While this may be a very brief and simple description of such an eclectic and varied band, at heart it is not too far off the mark. Owl Farm is an intense yet tuneful rock and roll band with a playful sense of humour and a love for sonic psychedelia. They have also been described as “creepy punk” and/or “lounge metal”. Started as a recording project in the fall of 2007, Owl Farm became a live act in the summer of 2008. Since then they have been wowing audiences in Ontario and Quebec with over the top performances, holding their own while sharing the stage with the likes of Japan’s Zoobombs and Canadian punk legends SNFU. Owl Farm’s releases are available at Zunior.com.
MISSISSIPPI GROVER:
Mississippi Grover is NOT from Mississippi, though he did ride a train through there once. Sometime during the late 1990s in Ottawa (Canada), local garage punk duo The Desecrators asked their friend Greg Watson to play some blues harp for a couple of songs. Since every blues harp player needs an appropriate name, “Mississippi Grover” was born. Grover eventually became the full-time organist for The Desecrators, in addition to playing harp, guitar and accordion.
Fast forward to early 2005: The Desecrators have long disbanded, Greg has moved to rural Ontario with his family and Mississippi Grover has been born again as a one-man band, playing swampy garage and primitive blues punk stuff, also known as rock 'n' roll. He has been driving around Ontario and western Quebec since then, playing for audiences of all sorts and dazzling them with his moonshiny gumbo of sound. That's right, he's a one-man travelling-medicine-show, and his tonic is SONIC, baby!
