Saturday, April 10th - prepare your ears and your hearts for a joyous thrashing as Hullabaloo presents a night most drastic and terribly fantastic – The Above, The Electric Mess and The Runaway Suns perform at Brooklyn’s Union Pool for a triple record release party! Each group shares a familiar, vintage aesthetic that hearkens back to the age of basement mod-hops, lysergic dreams, ready steady go-go bandits and tailored madmen.
The hootenanny revs up at 9pm, and DJ’s Shimmy, Charles Gaskins (the gentlemen behind Hullabaloo, http://www.myspace.com/hullabaloonyc) and Lil’ Jerk will spin maximum soul, garage, and R&B in between bands and into the night for a DANCE PARTY that won’t quit for nobody!
