Come shake your ponytails and join us for more horsin' around than any human being deserves at DON PEDRO on Saturday, April 11 at 9:00 PM. We'll be combining forces like a team of horses with HULLABALOO NYC, so you know it's gotta be good. Of course we'll project more of the obscure music videos that have made us NYC's favorite clip party people and DJ SHIMMY will be waxing vinyltacular. But that's not all, there will be 5, that's right, FIVE bands starting with Brooklyn's premier lampshade band, THE SHAYDES. Next up, all the friggin' way from Ohio, THE BLACK ELEVATORS will slather your mug with its brand of echo drenched decay. Then, just as you wipe clean EDISON ROCKET TRAIN will blast its very own brand of sleazy raunch right in your face. Then get ready to hear about the world, get up on your feet & gallop to the inspirational rumpus to be set forth by THE LOST CRUSADERS. The evening's live entertainment will then go full throttle straight into the abyss when THE BRIMSTONES dish out tuff macumba love with equestrian zeal (rumor has it that the go-go horses will be feelin' their oats & may want to let their manes down - word to the wise: fear them).
As if all this entertainment is not enough, we'll also be providing everyone with the opportunity to pick up the new release from Brooklyn's favorite DIY label, Go Ape Records. FOUR FANCY ELEKI HITS is the brand spankin' new international vinyl debut of the Okayama beasts from the East, the Young Men themselves, LOS WAKAMONOS. This is a very ltd edition 4 song EP is a fuzz & reverb drenched head-first foray into the frothy depths of the primitive. April 11th promises to be one sweet ass time. Don't let the six dollar cover fool ya, this is cheap, cut-rate entertainment at its very best!
