Graham Day & The Gaolers have one pair of feet in Medway and two pairs in Atlanta, Georgia in the gold old US of A. Graham Day (guitar/vocals) is the Kent boy while Buzz Hagstrom (bass) and Dan Elektro (drums) are from exotic Georgia, although Hagstrom was born and bred in Folkestone, Kent before hightailing it to the States in the early 1990s. All three have some serious garage rock pedigree backing them up. Graham Day was a founder member of The Prisoners, The Prime Moves and The SolarFlares. He was also the drummer in The Mighty Caesers and bassist in The Buff Medways alongside comrade Billy Childish. Elektro and Hagstrom are from the equally legendary and simultaneously underappreciated The Woggles.
