Saturday 16th June is our final instalment of Rock 'n' Roll Basement (for now) at the Sebright Arms and we've gone and organised a CORKER of a party. Dust off your glad rags, put on your dancin shoes and whack out your mojo because this will be a send-off to remember!
You'll find us lurking below ground level in the swingin' basement of the Sebright for one last injection of live sets, high-jinx and dancing till late.
Spinning her rock 'n' roll picks on the decks and getting your feet stomping again is Glam Racket's Sonic Medusa, and we've got live music from...
T H E F A B U L O U S P E N E T R A T O R S “An onstage persona that’s as thrilling as it is garish… crunchy riffs… and a huge dollop of fun… It’s a crazy party that they’re inviting you to” (THE QUIETUS)
D R A G Y O U R H E E L S "Crampsian stomp backed with a gutsy female vocal... Drag Your Heels see no irony in being rock and roll and there can't be anything with that." (ROUGH TRADE)
T H E F L Y I N G R A T S "They come on like a weird combination of mafia step-brotherhood, a broken telescope and a runaway black cab".
FROM BETHNAL GREEN TUBE/ CAMBRIDGE HEATH RAIL: The nearest stations are Cambridge Heath rail (just a few mins walk) or Bethnal Green tube down the road. For ultimate convenience from Bethnal Green, you can catch the 254 to Cambridge Heath rail and walk from there. See google maps here http://bit.ly/wsANcc
FROM OLD STREET TUBE: A ten minute bus ride: just hop on the 55 bus (towards Leyton) and get off at the stop called ‘Warner Place’ literally a min from the venue. See google maps here http://bit.ly/A5Svdy
We'll see you there to drink, get sweaty and dance to some mighty fine live rock ‘n’ roll.
