Yankton Sothern wrote two songs a day, five days a week for several months. He took the best ones and recorded them with a producer and backing band who have previously worked with Jonathan Richman, Exene Cervenka, Dave Alvin, Wilco, and countless others. The current band features members of Thee Fine Lines.
