Wanna talk music?
Maybe jam? But mostly just looking for some new friends =0
I'm pissed...I missed half the show and only saw about 30 min or so of Man or Astro-man? For anyone that saw them, what kind of guitar was the female guitar player playing?
I really wish I could've gone to that. How was it?

Mikel .....I'd love to see some pictures. I did'nt think they were going to allow cameras , so I only got a few on my cell phone. There are a few songs from the Chicago show on YouBoob.
....And when he finished doing that , he came to Chicago the next evening , and did the very same thing !
He was GOOD when I saw him in 1989 , but , 1000 times better , now. Of course , having a band like THAT makes all the difference in the world. You can see my further comments on my page , and drop off a friend request while you're there.
I like that song too:)

He put on an amazing show that night. He played several of my favorites by Hanoi Rocks, which included "Taxi Driver," "Motorvatin'," and "Malibu Beach Nightmare," along with "Hammersmith Palais" and "Nothing's All Right" from his Demolition 23 days, along with some new songs that were also pretty good. I have to say, he is probably the only front man who comes close to Iggy Pop in terms of his onstage energy and sense of theatrics.
I posted a few pictures, if anyone is interested.
The next event on my calendar is Ian Hunter. :)
It's a Super Rock showdown as The Fleshtones fly in for a one-shot Austin appearance (meaning if you're in San Antone, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, or elsewhere, this is it. Road trip!) with the mighty, mighty Ugly Beats, fresh from their tour of Spain.

Tomorrow! At The Funhouse! Hell yeah.
Im in Los Alamos from the east bay. Were looking to begin booking shows around the area, in the next few months. Check us out and get in contact. From house shows to bars we want to do it.
We want to either jump on some shows, or start booking with some bands. So if you sound similar or not, but wanna play, lets do it.
James
Hey,
Flying to New York from Norway on Sunday 9th oct. and staying until the 18th. Gonna be staying in Brooklyn and Manhattan area.
Any recommendations for good clubs and bars to visit with mostly garage/beat/r&b music??
Good dj's?
Or any specific event during the time I'm in?
Thanks,
Stian
I TRUST SOME OF YOU WENT TO THIS....OR ,DID SOMEBODY SLIP SOMETHING IN YOUR DIET DRINKS ?
Spunky news....thanx :)
Maybe this should be under events, but it seemed more appropriate for this sub-group. Alice Bag will be doing a reading and signing thing for her new book here in LA.

But while I am on the subject, what an all star group the Bags kind of turned out to be with members scattering to bands like the Gun Club, 45 Grave and Sisters of Mercy and writing for the LA Weekly (Craig Lee)
Here's a pic of the Bags in San Francisco with Sid Vicious rolling around on the floor from Alice Bag's Flickr stream.
