    • Can anyone tell me where I can find the bands European tour dates? I've got to work when they're playing locally (Manchester and Leeds) so I quite like the idea of seeing them on foreign soil. I've looked at the myspace, etc and can't find anything. Where are they playing in Holland/ Germany / France etc? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Russ

    • Hi Tim, As far as clubs are concerned there is only one that always put some interesting band: "La Mécanique Ondulatoire", http://www.myspace.com/lamecanique Weidr name, small venue but good atmosphere. We played there last year in October and that was good fun! As far as records shops are concerned I have been shopping in Paris for 10 years so a lot of things have change. One the best to try is: Born Bad Records, 17, Rue Keller, 75011 Paris, France, tel 01 43 38 41 78 That should get you started and both place advertise for other gigs and clubs. Laurent, Les BOF!

    • hey hey hey everybody! we've now passed the most part of our first european tour. we're fucked up, a lot of days off, a lot of stupid problems, but it was soooo great, and we've got more experienced, our teeth are growing and we like that a lot. thanks everybody who helped and supported us on this wild but uneasy trip. 27th july we will be back in Moscow and will make a big trip-report featuring all of you guys.
we're now in vienna, playing today with los peyotes, we have 11 days ahead and only 4-5 shows set in Germany, so if somebody could help us out with some activities we would be very grateful, we know it's almost impossible for know, but who knows.
here goes the offical text for that exact problem, maybe you could foreword it to anybody who might get interested, peace love and hugs to all of you
      "
We're a band from Moscow, Russia, called The Cavestompers! confessing
savage garage-punk, from mid-sixties and primitive beat sound, filled
with psychedelic guitar and organs passages and a dose of r'n'b to all
of this. You can check more in the links below. In January 2009 we've
released a debut vinyl LP on Groovie Records(Portugal) and a CD down
here in Russia and now are going on a European tour to support the
release. Besides programme full of our own songs, kick-ass obsucure
covers and plenty of precious trashy gear, we will carry a russian
garage-punk distro with a bunch of cd/vinyls - representing the whole
variety of local scene. Plus some soviet sixties pop,
      rock'n'roll,beat, "psych" on LP's and 45s(even a thematical dj-set can
be carried out - if there is need and possibility.
there were 4-5 greats shows booked in UK but unfortunately in the last
minute thez didnt grant us a visa, so now were rebooking ourselves on
the go. concerning all of this we need some modest part of a
backline(2guitar amps. 1 bass amp.3-4 vox mics, drumkit with 3 cymbals
stand plus hi-hat, heavy organ stand, any acommodation, food, drinks,
and a budget of 300-400 euros if possible cus weve already lost a lot
of money on trains and transport and now are renting a van. we
understand that it might be too late, but thanks for consideration
anyway, in that awful nightmare situation were ready to play on
literally any conditions, just not to spend our time meaningless while
were stranded here in europe for a month anyway.
for now the tour grid looks like this
      15july - vienna, voodo hop w/los peyotes
      16july - day off
17 july - berlin, cortina bob
      18 july - day off
      19 july - day off
      20 july - day off
      21 july - day off
22 july - show to be confirmed in bayern
      23 july - day off
24 july - berlin, bassy club, seeds memorial night
25 july - hamburg, beat club w/ dj traxman
      26 july - day off
27 july - early in the morning to moscow from hamburg"

    • Sounds swell! Quite nice to know about them. Cool tracks,

      I especially liked:
      "Un noi del carrer" and
      "Decideix-te"

Those catalan bands you mentioned sound pretty fun Els Dracs = 6 guys on stage for real?? Cool to hear about those.
