Ha ha, Haven't seen one of those for years! looks like a mk 2 or a mk 3. We got those out here. Alright for going to the shops but that's about all! they came with a stock 4 cylinder motor 1300cc 1600cc and a 2 litre model, real slow off the mark.

We never made any real muscle cars here in New Zealand but out trans-Tasman neighbours did!
It's amazing what the Aussies did with a truck motor! The Valiant Charger is one of my all time favourite rides.

    • Awesome! don't sell it! It needs a good work inside but it's a beatiful car and oldie. In Europe there is a big business around american cars,Challengers,Gran Torino, are the more requests and have prices in 25000-40000 euros! kopper said:

    • It's true that needs a lot of money for this hobby, that's why I even had one yet,but if you are not looking for the expensive models, in Italy you can take advantage tax (low price insurance, less general taxes,if your car has 20 years at least). It's not easy to find repair parts, but the might be helpful. So I put my eyes on a Toyota Celica TA22 Mk1 (like the one in the pic below) a model made in the first seventies,(the decade I prefer).

    • In "Smooth Operator" by Sade, she says the following lyrics: "Coast to coast / L.A. to Chicago"
I have always been bothered by the reference to Chicago in this sense. No, I am not an East Coast/West Coast superiority snob. In fact, I was born and raised near the lovely, scenic, walleye and destroyed ship-filled Lake Erie. But when you're saying coast to coast, outside of the fantastic A.M. late night radio show, it should, in reference to these United States, encompass the expanse of the continental 48. This, in my estimation, has always been something like Maine to California, or NYC to L.A. (or, failing that, Seattle). Chicago? Is Sade from Chicago or something? Southern California to ... northern Illinois? As a motherfucking representation of distance and coverage?
Satan's Dick do I need more serious drama in my life.

    • Have to agree, I'm a mopar man too. I don't have any cool photos cause they don't like people taking cameras to the shows these days, Don't understand why? Anyway here's a link to an interesting site about A-bodies: http://www.valiant.org/

    • I agree, mopar is the true spirit! Unfortunately it's not a european business philosophy. In Italy one of few car inspired in this way has been the Fiat 130 (1972-74),with a more sober design and 3000 cc. engine and it's not been a big success. Not even know if there are mopar stores here, but I post you this link of an american cars shop in Milan, so you can see what I mean (watch prices where they're showed!).It's more easy to find race cars, rallye models. http://www.vintageamericancars.it/index.php Fiat 130 Coupe

    • I've always been a Mopar man. Can't help it. And even though I prefer Plymouths, I'd have to say my favorite Mopar of all time might just be the 1962 Dodge Dart. It just had some of the most unique styling I've ever seen on a stock car. And with a 440 six-pack under the hood, this thing could really haul ass.
