    • If you read the last bulletin, Dale Phillips, Girl Trouble bass player had his house ripped off last night. We are giving the list of what was taken just in case you may come across this stuff. The one that is killing Dale the most is the loss of his 60s Venture's model Moserite bass with the autographs of Ventured Nokie Edwards, Bob Bogle and Don Wilson.

They even took the old Peavey amp that Dale played for many years before he retired it. He wrote "Gosh Darnit" in white paint on the side.

We'll also post the items on the main page of our myspace. Please spread the word about these lost items and Dale wants to thank everybody for all the support.

Thanks guys! It was a torn meniscus in my left knee that I got from simply squatting down a couple of months ago (I checked on Wikipedia and that's actually a pretty common way of tearing that ligament). Ryan's right, though; I originally hurt the knee at a Die Kreuzen show in '85. Yeah, Saturday night the knee felt pretty good, but the day after I paid for it. Anyway, surgery is now behind me... from what I can tell it went pretty well. I was out like a light for almost three solid hours. So now I'm making my way around on crutches but I should be back on the corkball field within a couple of weeks, I think. Going to the doc tomorrow, so I'll see what he says. Thanks again for the well wishes!

    • He y'all, in case you didn't know Kopper went in to go under-the-knife this morning for a torn something-or-other in his knee. I don't remember how he injured it (heck, at our old age it could have been from steppin' offa curb!), but none-the-less let's all hope for a right quick healing session!

Hope yer back to Cork-ballin' soon, Kopp!

You could send it to Razorcake, which reviews all things punk related. Even if the review doesn't make it past the record review editor (She's my girlfriend (and no, I can't put in a good word for you) and it's based mostly on whether the review is entertaining to read more than anything) into print, it still gets posted to the website.
