Garage rock doesn't cut it. Attic rock is more fitting: rock churned out from an attic littered with vinyl records of Robert Johnson, The Gun Club, and Gene Vincent; an attic saturated with the sound of old tape machines, the smell of tube amps, and the images of inflicted voodoo dolls; an attic haunted by the ritualistic channeling of gritty guitars, crying yelps, and guttural bass and drums. Like an out-of-control freight train teetering on the tracks between right and wrong, here is Krowe.
