Bio
Started playing bass in surf group The Avengers in 1962 with Chris Mancini. ALL rehearsals in garages throughout the next seven years. As the music scene turned British Rock/Pop, American rhythm and blues, and early Punk so did the band. In '65 became lead singer with members of The Sloths (Makin' Love) formed The May Wines. The group morphed into The New Theory, TNT, and The Fury. Played every club on Sunset Blvd from 1965 to 1969: Pandora's Box, The Whiskey, The Galaxy, The Hullabaloo, The Hollywood Palladium, and the Cheetah in Venice, Ca. The band headlined or opened for rock acts like The Doors, The Animals, Iron Butterfly, and Pink Floyd. From 1980 to 2010 wrote and directed over 40 films & TV movies including 'Friday the 13th pt6; JASON LIVES. Rejoined with members of THE SLOTHS in 2011. They re-issued their 1965 garagepunk classic MAKIN' LOVE. As lead singer of THE SLOTHS the band is currently playing gigs in Los Angeles and San Diego performing their music and covers exactly as they did them on the Sunset Strip during the 60s.
