NEW & EXPECTED VINYL RELEASES - 2013.04

  • NEW IN STOCK - 2013.04

    VARIOUS - BEAT FROM BADSVILLE 2 (BLACK/2X10")
Music is a voyage of strange opportunity. Out there, if you look hard enough, youll find crazed visionaries, half deaf creatives, lunatics let loose with whistles, juvenile delinquents with a notepad and pen and people who, quite frankly, have no time for the theory of pop. Thank God! This collection brings together two dozen songs by such people, tunes that dont fall into any easy categories and give short shrift to the context of "classic" or traditional songwriting. This is the stuff of legend, the Beat from Badsville.

    EXPECTED - 2013.04

BLOODSUCKING ZOMBIES FROM OUTER SPACE - ANATOMY OF THE DEAD (2LP)
One of the best known Psychobilly bands. They have fans all around the world and played numerous shows in many different countries. This is a live version of the concert they did in Vienna, July 2010. The sound quality is amazing and while listening you get the feeling that you actually are at the show! Double LP.

DEL-TOROS - THE HOTTEST PLACES IN HELL ARE RESERVED FOR..
...THOSE WHO IN TIMES OF GREAT MORAL CRISIS MAINTAIN THEIR NEUTRALITY'. - Dutch three piece Del-Toros are making a solid name for themselves by blending their reverb-drenched surf-guitars with elements of '70s hard rock, punk, stoner, psychedelia and even dub. Exciting stuff, produced by Theo van Rock (Henry Rollins, Urban Dance squad, etc).

DIRTBOMBS - CONSISTENCY IS THE ENEMY
A mere seven years later. Consistency Is The Enemy functions as the vinyl component of the Dirtbombs 2006 singles collection If You Don't Already Have a Look. While that two disc, CD-only collection focused on the plethora of out-of-print vinyl singles the band had released up until that point, it also contained new songs and previously unreleased archival recordings. THOSE songs seemed to get lost in the shuffle and consequently, have never been released on vinyl until now. Highlights include tracks like "Here Comes That Sound Again" and "Candyass," both consistent live favorites, or the quixotic cover of Yoko Ono's "Kiss Kiss Kiss" not to mention the entirety of the Chariots of the Gods EP from 1999. Limited one-time pressing on vinyl. Once its gone, its gone.

    FIREWORKS - LIT UP!
First ever vinyl issue of the second album from '90s NYC/Texas based outfit FIREWORKS, originally only available on CD. Ear bleeding sounds like Pussy Galore covering The Scientists, or The Cramps having a bad psycho trip. You get 13 tracks.

    KAAMS - UWAGA!
Following its 2012 CD-release, The Kaams' full length 'Uwaga!' now also appears on vinyl! Twelve tracks from an excellent Italian garage outfit. This mixture of r&b and '60s punk makes you feel like a time machine has thrown you back in time some 45 years.

KING KHAN & BBQ SHOW - WHAT'S FOR DINNER?
Repress! Two guys. One smashing a snare, bass drum and tambourine with his bare feet, molesting his guitar and singing like a possessed angel. The other spinning and howling like a freak and belting it out on his guitar like a savage. It sounds like five men. Like the Velvet Underground, 13th Floor Elevators, Black Flag, Sam Cooke and/or the Sonics.

SUNDAY KIDS - TWANG WOLF SESSIONS
One of the best-kept secrets in the Netherlands. These guys have been breeding on this baby for a while and finally they gave birth to the 'Twang Wolf Sessions' LP. Equal parts rock'n'roll, country, Southern rock and little bit of fucked up blues is what you can expect from this quartet. An analogue trip to rock'n'roll heaven, raw, honest and exciting. What more do you want?

THEE OPEN SEX - THEE OPEN SEX
With their first proper full length, they approach the midwestern American alienation of Rocket From The Tombs as reductionists, aligning with German art rock robotics from the viewpoint of John Lydon.
