NEW, RESTOCKED AND EXPECTED GARAGE/ROCK'N'ROLL VINYL!

  • NEW ARRIVALS - 2013.03

    CORMANS, THEE/PACIFICS - SPLIT 7"

Both of these bands really shouldn't be on a split 45rpm, because they are good enough to have their on 7-inches. Nevertheless, 500 copies of this beast of a dirty surf beat platter were pressed, and there's only a limited amount of copies ready for whole-sale, so be quick and get yerself a copy, and while at it, snatch some other cool bean releases from Bachelor too. THEE CORMANS have a ton of records out on other labels, like In The Red, Total Punk, etc. THE PACIFICS have a brilliant single out on Bachelor (which was repressed), plus they released a full length on the US Label BLOOD RED. Pressed on amazing black wax!

    FURY - FLYING

Hozac's first archival release. Two unissued '72 cuts by New York proto punk group FURY, fronted by a young Sonny Vincent, who would later lead the legendary Testors. Limited to 600 copies.

    HEAVY TIMES - I'M SINGLE

A 3-track EP which further illustrates the kung fu grip this Chicago combo has on pop hooks and on-the-brink-of-collapse punk animalism. The two tracks on the B-side are exclusive to this release.

MOCKERS, LOS - I WANNA GO

Though they emerged from Uruguay, Stones-influenced garagerock legends Los Mockers were mainly active in Argentina. This is a reissue of their first single, originally released in 1966 and featuring two fine band originals. B/w 'My Baby'.

URH, BOB -& THE VINYLATORS- - ULTRAPSYCHOVINYLIZATION!

A fine seven incher from the luvable Bob Urh and Los Vinylators. Tracklist: Side 1: * Desenamorada (Los Vinylators) * Its a Long Way Home (Urh) Side 2: * Trouble (McMunn/Urh) * Desenamorada (bonus track, alt mix) (Los Vinylators)

MERGERS - MONKEY SEE, MONKEY DO!
The quartet's beatlesque sound is guided by bands like THE KINKS, THE WHO, THE ROLLING STONES or THE SONICS. The Garage-Beat- and Power Pop-influnce is reflected in catchy songwriting, polyphonical harmonies and forcefully charming guitars. The album, solely self-composed, comprises cracking Garage-songs as well as wonderful Beat-ballads. "All I Can Do" is a melodic opener, "Take A Look At Me" a cool hit which is tremendously danceable and grips you instantly; "Caught Beneath" is an emotional ballad whereas "This Far And No Further" is a stormy, wild piece. When it comes to the energy and power of the band, an obvious comparison would be to the SOUNDFLAT-houseband THE COOL JERKS. With MONKEY SEE, MONKEY DO! - available both as CD and LP - THE MERGERS bring a new landmark of Garagebeat on the market. An album, that convinces through varied compositions and invites you to dance!

PEACH KELLI POP - PEACH KELLI POP

PEACH KELLI POP began as an experiment for Allie Hanlon. It was a way for the drummer to step away from her kit and try writing songs. In case you don't know, she's the drummer for WHITE WIRES, who have two albums out on Going Gaga/Douchemaster and Dirtnap, toured through Europe and USA. Allie Hanlon always had her own musical outlet. Since 2009, her music has gone from the Ottawa basements and bedrooms where it spawned, to all corners of Canada and the USA. She has toured the USA under the PEACH KELLI POP moniker multiple times, with various friends completing her live band. Hanlon's output is slow: 3 years after the first self-titled album, her second, also self-titled, finally sees the light, and this time around you can hear a distinct improvement in production quality. Both albums were written, performed and recorded entirely by Hanlon, and it is clear she has learned a thing or two since her genuinely amateurish debut.

PEOPLES TEMPLE - MORE FOR THE MASSES

A bold advance in the songwriting structure, with intricate arrangements, incredibly diverse new directions not far off from the pioneering material spurned forth from Arthur Lee's iconic '60s band LOVE. A direct shot of rock n' roll snarl, classic pop, head-expanding fuzz, those two-part vocal harmonies, and an ever-compelling riff that takes you over the edge and back within minutes. Vinyl edition of 550 copies.

    NEW IN STOCK - 2013.03

SPIVS, THEE - BULLET TRAIN/VOODOO ISLAND
Thee Spivs were formed in Hackney, EAST LONDON in 2007 by Ben Edge and Steve Coley. Originally playing as a duo, they took influences from THE CRAMPS, THE SCIENTISTS, '70s punk and classic ROCK & ROLL TRASH from the '50s and '60s. Since then the band has taken on a bass player and crafted themselves into a tight rhythm and punk trio, playing their raucous crazy shows all over the world! Having released material on Damaged Goods from 2009 on, this single is a One Time only for Voodoo Rhythm. Thee Spivs went to Gizzard Studios (Mudhoney, Mungo Jerry, Billy Childish, Delaney Davidson) to record two brand new tracks. A-Side 'Bullet Train' is completly FIST IN THE FACE '77 PUNK ROCK and the flip side crawls back at you with psychotic trance punk rhythm!

    EXPECTED - 2013.03

    BLOODSHOT BILL - TRAVELIN' GUITAR

Limited to 500 copies in black wax, big centerholes, full colored 300gr/m cardboard sleeve with 3mm spine, artwork by Marcel Bontempi.

GRAVEMEN, THEE - ROCKIN' IN THE GRAVEYARD
Trash-Blues-Garage Duo from Malmö, Sweden. Thee Gravemen are two English guys, Lee Tea on guitar & vocals, and Daz Trash on Drums & Screams. Wild primitive sounds from the grave! They have been playing all over Europe now for three years and are still going strong. Releasing the 3rd 7" vinyl single this time on Heptown Records. The A side blasts out a real stomping and strolling rock 'n' roll song called "Rockin in the Graveyard" while the B side is a fabulous spooky version of the late 1959 classic "Tornado". The 2 man band get their influences from the likes of Screaming Lord Sutch, The Cramps, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Hasil Adkins and The Damned etc. taking 60s garage, 50s rockabilly, 70s punk and putting it in a blender with some vintage horror and some voodoo magic to make this wild and primitive stripped down sound Thee Gravemen call music!

IMPO & THE TENTS - GOING TO THE MOON

Swedish sapheads IMPO & THE TENTS started out in 2009, influenced by 60s/70s beat, girl group, bubblegum, punk and power pop. The songs are rarely longer than two minutes, yet filled to the rim with whopping hooks, cheesy melodies and rattling riffs, topped with quirky lyrics and occasional organ knickknack. The band consists of ADHD drummer Victor, guitar spaz Dan and singer/bass player Rune, whos squeaky, snotty vocals have been compared to the likes of Feargal Sharkey (THE UNDERTONES), Leonard Graves Phillips (THE DICKIES) and Jay Reatard. This far in the game, the group has released an s/t LP (2011, Alleycat Records) and two 7inches; "Dont give me your number" (Alleycat Records, 2012) and "Nothing to say" (Push My Buttons, 2012). With their new 7inch "Going to the moon" IMPO & THE TENTS whip out three new hit-songs and they even saved their best song ever ("Do the wipers") for the B-side. Crazy Swedes! During the last couple of years, theyve been building a reputation as a tight live act while plowing their way through Northern Europe, aiming for the South in springtime 2013.

OBNOX - A RAGIN' IN THE SUN

A pop record that's been sprinkled with raw punk and a little hip hop beat culture. 'Ragin' is not unlike the previous three releases by Lamont 'Bim' Thomas, a.k.a. Obnox and probably best known as the drummer in BASSHOLES, THIS MOMENT IN BLACK HISTORY, PUFFY AREOLAS, and UNHOLY 2. Limited to 500 copies.

RHONDA - HERE WE GO AGAIN

2013 single by Rhonda, a 5 piece band, 4 of them from the ashes of Trashmonkeys.

    CUNTZ - ALOHA

Sheer rock'n'roll madness from Melbourne. One-time pressing of 300 hand-numbered LP's, released on RICHIE RAMONE's Homeless imprint. Includes download.

FLEUR DE LYS - YOU'VE GOT TO EARN IT
The first official album release from legendary British soul/mod /psych heroes. Often bootlegged, the Fleurs never managed to release an album until now. They were Atlantic Records' UK house band, they backed Sharon Tandy on her chart successes and played on hundreds of cuts anonymously, never quite obtaining the respect that they deserved. Acid Jazz Records in collaboration with the only constant member, Keith Guster, have put together this glorious album that will see the Fleur de Lys take their right place in the pantheon of '60s legends. Tracklist: 1. Hold On 2. Mud In Your Eye 3. Circles 4. So Come On 5. Liar 6. Love Them All 7. You've Got To Earn It 8. Tick Tock 9. The Bitter With The Sweet 10. Brick By Brick 11. Wait For Me 12. Two Can Make It Together 13. I Forgive You 14. Stop Crossing The Bridge 15. Gotta Get Enough Time 16. I've Been Trying 17. Gong With The Luminous Nose The LP includes an exclusive poster.

GLOW KIT - GLOW KIT (GER)

Based in Denmark and featuring members of COLA FREAKS, BLIGLAD and SNOW KITE, GLOW KIT blasts thru a mix of Power Pop and Garage Punk with a touch of psych guitars that will have fans of Lover!, The Manikins, and Carbones fans strip off their protective gear and dance in spasms in a lethal mushroom cloud. German version with standard cover.

SMOKESTACK LIGHTNIN' FT. EDDIE ANGEL & PAUL BURCH - STOLEN FRIENDS

A new longplayer by Smokestack Lightnin'. This time the boys teamed up with Eddie Angel (Planet Rockers/Los Straight Jackets) and Paul Burch (ex-Lambchop) to record a bunch of more or less known folksongs, swamp rock-, moody r&b- and country tunes, all done the Smokestack way.

VARIOUS - BABY, SHAKE MIT MIR!!!

'One Man's Trash Is Another Man's Treasure'. So why should you buy just another damn '60s-compilation, huh? "Because, well well, just because", sez Elvis anyway. Actually, the real reason is that while listening to this album you will get the same kind of feeling that you have when you've just eaten the right amount of vanilla ice cream on a hot summer day! The 16 tracks on this varied compilation are great fun for one and all, whether you are into freakbeat, mod, soul, country-folk or some totally demented German über-beat stuff. Just to let you really stay sick and turn blue there's a hilarious novelty song at the end of each side of the record. This comp is not based on the output of a certain label or on a certain style or region (though there is a slight emphasis on Germany since half of the stuff has its origin there). Nope, these are all just truly classy songs, that deserve to get a wider audience! 11 of the 16 tracks have never been reissued before and there are extensive liner-notes on the back-cover. Now grab one of the 500 copies issued and then shake, shout and shimmy along to these tunes! Tracklist: Side A: 1. Don Adams: Dirty Angels (Germany, 1967) 2. The Modern Sounds: Baby Shake Mit Mir (Germany, 1964) 3. Salena Jones: I've Got The Blues (USA, 1967) 4. Sanford Clark: Hard Feelings (USA, 1965) 5. Uwe Spier: Sloop Sloop Loobey (Germany, 1965) 6. The Sound Alliance: The Eremite (Germany, 1967) 7. Johnny Thunder: I'm Alive (USA, 1969) 8. Miss Venus: Der Apoll Vom Bikini Atoll (Germany, 1963). Side B: 1. Vera Palm: Weil Mein Daddy Dich Gut Leiden Kann (Germany, 1968) 2. Sandy Sarjeant: Can't Stop The Want (Germany, 1967) 3. The Wild Voices Of The Marty Cooper Clan: Raunchy (USA, 1963) 4. Big Bee Kornegay: Fiesta Rock'N'Roll (USA, 1958) 5. Jack Hammer: Down In The Subway (UK, 1966) 6. Eddy Mitchell: Tu Ne Peux Pas (France, 1965) 7. Roberto Carlos: Negro Gato (Brazil, 1966) 8. Die 3 Spitzbuben: Rauschgift-Time (Austria, 1968).

CONCENTRATION SUMMER CAMPS/MULETRAIN - NO TOMORROW 16TH ANNIVERSARY

To celebrate that No Tomorrow is getting 16 (forever) years old in 2009 they're putting out a collection of vinyl 7"s with some of the classic bands, and some friendly bands that at some point were going to be or should have been on the label but never were. This particular one includes 3 songs by Madrid's Muletrain, simply one of the most powerfull and intense bands in the punk scene today (2 are exclusive to this release, one is from their soon-to-be-released third LP) and 3 exclusive songs by Valencia's CSC, a new hardcore-punk band -fast and furious style- that has been making a lot of noise with just one self-released EP and from whom you'll be hearing a lot in the near future. Art by El Nerdo.

SETTING SON - IN A CERTAIN WAY

    Tracklisting: 01. In a certain way 02. I wish.

ASTEROID B-612 - READING BETWEEN THE LINES (2LP)

"Reading Between the lines" was the 4th and last album by Australian high energy rock champions Asteroid B-612, and the only one they recorded with the final line-up of the band, as a four piece, with Graheme Spittles taking the place of Grant McIver on vocals and Stewart Leadfinger Cunningham out of the band. The record came out in a very short edition on the great australian Full Toss imprint, and was promptly deleted. No Tomorrow considers this a too important work not to be in print, and through the Asteroids main man Johnny Casino decided to put it back in stock in a repackaged edition, with new artwork and 5 BONUS tracks: one non-album song from the sole single taken from the LP, two songs from the EP "Different licks for different chicks" (a Rolling Stones cover and a Flamin' Groovies cover and a Died Pretty/Pere Ubu medley cover appeared on a French compilation.

    BISCUIT - TIME FOR ANSWERS

"Biscuit is one of those (rare) bands than take their inspiration mainly from 60s sounds (beat, garage, psychedelia, freakbeat, hard-rock, folk-rock, soul, rocknroll) but do not sound like just another 60s band. Their sound is uniquely their own, and trying to compare them to another band is so silly that lazy reviewers come out with comparisons as diverse as Urge Overkill, Soundtracks of Our Lives, the Byrds or The Prisoners in the same line. Which of course are all wrong. What is sure right is that these guys have a good thing going when it comes to combine meaty, solid guitar riffs with beautiful melodies. They know the secret of how to make well-crafted, passionate songs, the kind that grow with every listen. They can rock as fuck one minute and melt your heart the next. You can feel the anger, rage and desperation in their songs, but also the gratefulness, love and tenderness. You can feel the people behind the music. In a phrase, they've got soul. In my book, a truely classic record".

BLACK KEYS - THE BIG COME UP (BLACK)

Purple vinyl! Producing its own brand of stripped down rock'n'roll combining Memphis grit, Motor City stomp and Mississippi hollers. Take one guitar, a cheap organ and a broken down drumkit and you have their bare essentials. But it ain't all the way that simple becauce they have it in their heart and in the their soul. Dan learnt by playing blues guitar romps in juke joints with the great JAMES 'T-MODEL' FORD. Produced by Akron who has produced illuminaries like Lux Interior, Devo and Chrissie Hynde. Includes 'She said, she said', not on the CD.

    FROWNING CLOUDS - LISTEN CLOSELIER

A simple word to describe this release would be, undoubtedly, authenticity. The Frowning Clouds have the teenager fury of those lost bands from the Peebles, Nuggets and other compilations; the sound and the attitude of the earliest Rolling Stones, and their sight set on the blackest rhythm & blues. Its amazing how theyve assimilated these influences developing their own personality.

HEART ATTACK ALLEY - LIVING IN HELL (+CD)
140g Vinyl, 350g Cardboard CMYK Print and printed inersleeve, Incl. Free CD, Free Poster! HEART ATTACK ALLEY from Auckland New Zealand originated in 2009 in a series of blues jam sessions on Kristal Gs front porch. Kristal provided the guitar, and was joined by Dr. Karl Steven ( yes hes a Doctor and yes he did Play for Swedens Crossover Rap Band: Supergroove) on HARMONICA and STOMPBOX, and Caoimhe Macfehin on vocals. United by a appreciation for DIRTY, grinding music, Super Simple SPOOKY and MYSTERIOUS Guitar Riffs only POISON IVY ( the punk answer to ANGUS YOUNG) of THE CRAMPS where able to do and a Harp by Dr Karl Stevens a VOODOO HARMONICA how he calls it as sharp as LITTLE WALTERS back in the Days when that Instrument was a Dangerous Sex Pistol against Squarism and AUTHORITY and then : CAOIMHEs Vocals a Hot LAVA RIVER Of Feelings and words as sharp as a Butchers knife both Ultra Powerful in Lyrics and Melodies all 3 Together a Unbeatable Combo!

HET - IK HEB GEEN ZIN OM OP TE STAAN

JOHN THE CONQUEROR - JOHN THE CONQUEROR

The trio from Mississippi, now based in Philly, have the smoothness of classic 50s soul mixed with a southern twang. Named after an African-American mythological folk legend, of whom the likes of Dr. John, Muddy Waters, and Willie Dixon have sung, the band possesses a magical power that empowers emotion. They will bring you from the church to the juke joint in fourquick minutes.

LEE, BECKY -& DRUNKFOOT- - HELLO BLACK HALO (+CD)

A SHE WOLF ONE WOMAN RENEGADE RIOT GIRL TAKES OVER THE WORLD! Just like the late JESSIE MAE HEMPHILL, Becky Lee (Becky Lee Walters) is a renegade and LONELY SHE WOLF in the world of men dominated Blues Rock'n'Roll. She is one of those girls you see and you think...aw what a neat girl?...BUT beware when she is on stage!! It's a constant fight between Heaven and Hell she's fighting, struggling with her whole life. And you can feel and hear this very loud and direct in her music... Becky has it all and she's A HELL OF A SONGWRITER. Her debut album on Voodoo Rhythm Records includes 11 ORIGINAL RECORDINGS, of a woman that must be heard, if you miss this you miss life in general A MUST BUY AND A MUST SEE! She plays MURDER SONGS, HEADACHES AND HEATBREAKS. REAL LIFE. She could kill a man with the click of a finger, and every fucker can go to hell for all she cares.. SHE MELTS HEARTS AND BURNS JEANS, WATCH OUT FOR THIS WOMAN.

LOG, BOB -III- - MY SHIT IS PERFECT

Here's the man who started it all, the gran seniori, the don, the big daddy of one man bands - BOB LOG III goddammit! Ages ago there was a band like none before and none since. They played fierce amphetamine drenched blues punk with demented vigor, merging an urban skid row punk attitude with the archaic sounds of the Mississippi Delta and they were to be known the world round as Doo Rag. Out of this crazed slide blues punk mayhem evolved a 21st century space age Mississippi Fred Mc Dowell in a full body cannonball suit sporting a pilots helmet with a built in telephone - this creature was introduced to our planet as BOB LOG III.

    M-16'S - LOOSE BULLETS
Lead by Ken Watt (he has been in several bands including ASTEROID B-612) the M-16s burst out of Perth, Australia with these 8 songs full of elegant, arrogant, honest, intense and loud as hell Detroit rock. In the same league as the Hellacopters or the New Christs, the M-16s have spawn their debut album to be remembered as one of the most exciting to come out of the current Australian scene.

MOTIONS - WASTED WORDS: THE HAVOC 45'S

When The Motions crashed into the Dutch charts at the beginning of 1965 with Its Gone, they opened the floodgates for a tidal wave of young Dutch bands. Few of them, though, could match the pure excitement etched into the grooves of The Motions 1965-66 singles, featuring the definitive lineup of singer Rudy Bennett, songwriter/guitarist Robbie van Leeuwen, bass player Henk Smitskamp and drummer Sieb Warner. That magnificent procession of songs is laid out for all to hear in dynamically remastered sound on Wasted Words: The HAVOC 45s. The raw, frenetic thrash of Its Gone and We Fell In Love, vibrant, mournful laments like Ive Got Misery, For Another Man and Ill Follow The Sun, the stark socially-conscious folk-rock of Wasted Words, the explosive freakbeat of Everything Thats Mine and the sophisticated pop balladry of My Love Is Growing - all written by master songsmith (and future Shocking Blue mastermind) Robbie van Leeuwen. The latter song so impressed co-producer Scott Walker that he recorded it with the Walker Brothers. Pressed on 180 gram vinyl, Wasted Words features a top quality 350 gram carton gatefold sleeve featuring rare photos and all of the original picture sleeve artwork. REMASTERED IN THE 24-BIT DOMAIN FROM THE ORIGINAL MASTER TAPES CHAPTER A 1. It's Gone 2:30 2. I've Got Misery 3:17 3. You Bother Me 2:08 4. We Fell In Love 1:57 5. For Another Man 1:49 6. OUTSIDERS - MONKEY ON YOUR BACK: THE 45'S (2LP)

The Netherlands boasted a fertile beat scene in the 1960s, but few bands could match the greatness of the Outsiders from Amsterdam. Led by the uniquely gifted songwriting team of singer Wally Tax and guitarist Ronnie Splinter, The Outsiders left behind a prolific catalog of original music that easily matches up to the best the UK or the USA had to offer during the same period. The evidence is all here on Monkey On Your Back: Their 45s, a two-disc 180gm vinyl collection featuring the original mono A- and B-sides of all of their singles from the crazed punk R&B of 1965s You Mistreat Me to 1969s infectious Do You Feel Allright (once described by Wally Tax as "like cowboys sitting on space rockets"). Their biggest hits are all here, including Lying All The Time, Touch, Monkey On Your Back and Summer Is Here, alongside favorites like Suns Going Down, I Love Her Still, I Always Will, That's Your Problem and You Remind Me. A handful of rarities and unreleased tracks round out the set, including Talk To Me, a demo of Monkey On Your Back, and stereo versions of Touch and Bird In A Cage. The eye-popping gatefold cover lays out all of the original picture sleeve artwork along with other rare shots. Original single versions! 2LP black 180 gram vinyl, 350 gram carton gatefold sleeve. OUTSIDERS - OUTSIDERS (2LP)
Released at the peak of their popularity in early 1967, The Outsiders' debut-album featured one side of live recordings and one side of studio-tracks. The album finds them playing with a rawness and urgency few groups could ever match on primal but brilliantly conceived tracks like 'Story 16', 'Afraid Of The Dark', 'Filthy Rich' and 'Won't You Listen'. This expanded double-album reissue adds a second disc of rare material, including a previously unreleased studio-session from January 1966, a live concert taped at Paradiso in December 1968, and a remarkable instrumental demo of Strange Things Are Happening. Dynamically re-mastered in the 24-bit domain from the original tapes, and pressed in 180-gram vinyl, 'The Outsiders' comes in a spectacular gatefold sleeve and includes liner-notes by Ugly Things magazine's Mike Stax. PROTOTIPES - WE ARE BACK

Album debut by this new band formed by ex-members of Spanish punk rock legends of the 90s SHOCK TREATMENT and DEPRESSING CLAIM. A superb collection of sing-along power-pop, bittersweet midtempo melodic-punk and some killer blasts of mean punk'n'roll thrown in for good measure. A must for fans of the Spanish punk pop sound of the 90s and for anyone interested in classy punk rock.

    Q65 - THE LIFE I LIVE/THE DECCA 45'S
LIMITED EDITION 500 COPIES. LP Black 180 grams vinyl 350 grams carton Gatefold sleeve with Japanese plastic bag. Liner notes Mike Stax / Ugly Things Magazine. To their fans - then and now - Q65 were more than a musical group, they were a way of life. Formed in The Hague in 1965, Q65s wild, unconventional music and rebellious image quickly inspired a large and fiercely fanatical following. From early 1966 until late 1967 they laid siege to the Dutch charts with a string of outstanding singles: from the roughshod rhythm & blues of Youre The Victor to the explosive psychedelic rock of So High Ive Been, So Down I Must Fall. This deluxe vinyl set gathers together all of Q65s 1966-67 singles for the first time, all mastered from the original tapes in glorious mono, as heard on those original 45rpm releases. The stellar lineup of tracks includes their defining hit The Life I Live, Cry In The Night, the vitriolic I Despise You, the exclusive 45 mix of From Above, World Of Birds and It Came To Me. All four tracks from the sought-after Kjoe Blues EP are also featured, including a blistering, fuzz guitar-spattered version of Jimmy Reeds Aint That Loving You Babe, and their utterly stoned-out, zoned-out take on Robert Johnson's Ramblin' On My Mind. Beautifully packaged with all the original single sleeve artwork and full liner notes, THE LIFE I LIVE presents Q65 in their prime, making music of a deeply inspired brilliance few bands could ever hope to match. SETTING SON - BEFORE I EAT MY EYES & EARS

The third album by The Setting Son, a project that started out as a solo project for Sebastian T.W. Kristiansen who recorded more than 50 songs in his flat in Copenhagen on his 4-track tape recorder. Lorenzo Woodrose from Baby Woodrose got hold of the tapes and handed them over to Bad Afro Records, who released the first two albums with Lorenzo Woodrose as producer. The Setting Son have since then become a real band with their own take on psychedelic garage pop that is both blue-eyed and bittersweet. The songwriter, Sebastian T.W. Kristiansen has an ear for good tunes, and his characteristic voice and songwriting skills make The Setting Son stand out among the many bands today that are inspired by psychedelic music from the '60s. 'Before I Eat My Eyes & Ears' is more varied than the early material and more time has been spent on the details. The album is produced by Sebastian T.W. Kristiansen and The Setting Son in the Orangeriet studio in Copenhagen and the result is a more mature record that showcases another side of their talent. 'Before I Eat My Eyes & Ears' will be released as an LP and download.

SUZY & LOS QUATTRO - READY TO GO!

"In the beginning there were just BB and Suzy, recording demos on a 4 track just for fun, playing to be Chris Stein and Debby Harry. Then they decided to record a proper demo at Cokys (Ex Shock Treatment) Rockaway Studio and on which Tommy (ex Depressin Claim) sat in at the drums. As soon as we heard this demo we knew we have to release it, so marvellous it was. We werent wrong, and it has been a steady selling item here at No Tomorrow. This was two years ago, and since then S&LQ have turned into a band (adding Coky, Tommy and Johnny Quattro to the parents of the project, Suzy & BB) and have put out records in Germanys Screaming Apple, Japans Wizzard in Vinyl, have recorded with TV Smith of The Adverts fame and have been playing live around Spain and a bit in Europe. All this has been achieved without an album on the market. Now, finally, that album is out and we can say proudly that it has been worth the wait. Suzy & Los Quattros best virtue is their ability to sound pure and sweet and at the same time sexy and exciting, and the best thing we can say about this record is that the bands special charm shines through every groove of this record. Of course theres also the songs, hook-filled and well-crafted, great songs conducted by Suzys powerful but lovely voice and BBs cleverly placed harmony vocals. Last but not least, the production (by Coky Quattro) is just awesome, loud an clear, it fits the sound of the band perfectly. A very anticipated debut that is sure to be one the most celebrated and best sellling titles of the No Tomorrow catalogue."

    TEE-SET - EMOTION

Original album & artwork from December 1966. Limited Edition 300. Black vinyl 180 grams. 350 grams carton sleeve. Japanese plastic bag. In the mid sixties beat groups got quite popular in the Netherlands. The Motions, Golden Earrings, Outsiders and Q65 manifested themselves in the footsteps of The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Pretty Things. In 1966 a new top band entered the scene, this time from Delft. After the hit singles Early In The Morning and Believe What You Say, songs written by Shocking Blue-guitarist Robbie van Leeuwen, in November 1968 the Tee-Set went into the GTB studio to record an album with all new songs. Stimulated by Harry Knipschild, manager Theo Kuppens and singer Peter Tetteroo, with a voice reminiscent of Stevie Winwood, decided to build Dave Van Ronks Dont Leave Me Here into the party song Dont You Leave. The reactions to the album were phenomenal. The trendy Hitweek wrote: "The Tee-Set album is, in one word, fantastic. With a sound that is solid like a brick house. This is the Nederlanger [Dutch LP] of the year! We do not get enthusiastic very fast, but this album is incredibly good. The Dutch Beat is on a roll." 'Dont You Leave' became the Tee-Sets first top 10 hit. The album was also a great success. Unique in that time: Emotion was also released in Italy. Tee-Set continued. Ma Belle Amie became a worldwide hit, and even landed in the U.S. Top 5. She Likes Weeds was a number one in the Netherlands. The fantastic first album Emotion has now been remastered from the original master tapes for the first time. It sounds better than ever and is available with the original artwork. Enjoy the breakthrough of the Tee-Set.

VARIOUS - ALIVE AT THE DEEP BLUES FEST

VINYL COMES WITH DOWNLOAD. 'ALIVE AT THE DEEP BLUES FEST' recaptures the loose and spontaneous feel of live albums produced in the Golden Age of rock'n'roll. The album was recorded live this summer at the Deep Blues Festival during three glorious (sold-out) days of great music, Southern-style BBQ and camaraderie between musicians, fans and friends alike, far from the corporate sterility of many larger modern music fests. Chris Johnson's festival successfully revived the communal spirit of late '60s and early '70s music gatherings, evoking the vibe of a large summer picnic with family, friends, good food and great music. BUFFALO KILLERS and RADIO MOSCOW turned in super heavy sets soaked in psychedelia and reverb, while LEE BAINS III & The GLORY FIRES fiercely ripped through their show with a blistering set of songs steeped in Southern rock, R&B, soul, gospel and punk. BRIAN OLIVE and his backing band melded soulful R&B with technicolor garage-pop for their early daytime set, while HENRY'S FUNERAL SHOE, (the Welsh duo) LEFT LANE CRUISER and newcomers JOHN THE CONQUEROR perhaps kept closest to the Deep Blues curriculum with their respectively raunchy and heavily amplified modern interpretations of rural gutbucket Delta Blues. Grab a copy of 'Alive At The Deep Blues Fest', invite a bunch of good friends over for some food and drink, and PLAY IT LOUD!
