EXPECTED - 2012.46

  • EXPECTED - 2012.46

    Single (7")

DILL, DANNY/WAYNE WALKER - I'M HUNGRY FOR YOUR LOVIN'
High energy '50s rockabilly. With the B-side being equally good, this is a hot selling two sider for any hot rockin' fan.

    DOMINO, FATS/JIMMY RICKS - SO GLAD/WIGGLIN' & GIGGLIN'
Solid R & B from Fats. A jumping tune for the dance floor b/w pure R & B/soul crossover. Killer track for the dancefloor.

HELEN LOVE & RICARDO AUTOBAHN - AND THE SALVATION ARMY BAND PLAYS
HELEN LOVE join forces with RICARDO AUTOBAHN and return to Damaged Goods for a Christmas single. This 7-inch is, in the long-standing tradition of Helen Love X-mas tracks, a bit depressing but in a fun way. Ricardo Autobahn is a member of the legendary band The Cuban Boys, who were one of John Peel's favourite bands and had a single on Damaged Goods back in 2000, as well as the top 5 hit 'Cognoscenti Vs. Intelligentsia'. He's also part of Rikki And Daz who hit the top 20 with 'Rhinestone Cowboy', which actually featured Glen Campbell on it and in the video too.

    JACKSON, WANDA/DOROTHY WILLIAMS - FUNNEL OF LOVE/WATCHDOG
A really popular dance floor track for the girls, from '50s chick (and as rumoured ex-lover of Elvis Presley) Wanda Jackson. On the flip, an awesome cut of pure rhythm'n'soul crossover. Both tracks are guaranteed dance floor fillers.

LLOYD PACK - KNOW YOUR LLOYD PACK
The debut release from a new band featuring Dan Melchior and his wife, Letha Rodman-Melchior, joined by Russell Walker of the English post-punk band The Pheromoans. According to the label's promo campaign, this single offers "drollery of the highest Anglo-Saxon order". All profits will go to the treatment of Letha, who was diagnosed with melanoma and breast cancer in 2010.
