Here's another vote for the Hangee V. Also check out Pigi's new group Crudeli where he play the drums.

Can't go wrong with The Mojomatics...
Try also Ray Daytona & Googoobombos from Tuscany. Surf/Garage/R'n'R played with great skill!
Yep, HANGEE V are fantastic, also BOMB'O'NYRICS, MOJOMATICS, like THE PEAWEES, too...and don't forget to mention THE HORMONETTES, THE RIPPERS and the legendary HITLER SS...
The Bomb'o'nyrics kick ass!

Well, being Italian I can say many, but Dead Boy is not wrong: Sick Rose are without any doubt the best italian garage band ever. I would add Pikes In Panic and, speaking about nowadays, The Intellectuals, Peawees, The Mojomatics, Loose and The Doggs. If you want to know more about the italian garage rock scene of the 80s, which includes among the best garage bands we've ever had, I suggest to look for the two volumes of "Eighties Colours", a fantastic garage compilation released by the label Electric Eye. If you want to know more about nowadays I may suggest you to follow some music blogs:

The Plastic Pals are very much interested in getting our music out in Germany. Perhaps with the help of Tobba above? ;-)

Anyone going to this in Amsterdam on Aug. 30?
I'll be there that week. Looks pretty cool.
Bands include WestHell 5 (mod & crime jazz!), The Stubbs,The Reaction and The Timeflies. I've checked out the Weshells and The Stubbs -- both seem to be instrumental groups -- they sound great to me, the little I've heard.
Looking forward to this trip. First time for this ugly American in Europe. My son is studying in Amsterdam (VU) for a semester.
Well there's a new hope anyway !
Aww shit. All talk no walk... Damn I hope I hadn't even seen this in the first place, now I need to get this fuckin' tent down somehow before I can stand up again...

DEVIATION STREET
Friday August 17th
London’s hot hang-out for desperate rock’n’rollers. At Deviation Street you’ll see & hear the best new garage & rock’n’roll bands we can find.

LIVE:
THE SPITFIRES
http://www.facebook.com/TheSpitfiresUk
The Spitfires are a vital young band where the words music and clothes become one and they push towards a realism/escapism for a generation spawned on talent shows , low level intelligent media and a lack of ambition and urge the real talent of Britain to buck the trend.
THE STABILISERS
http://www.facebook.com/TheStabilisers
A garage punk behemoth simply known as The Stabilisers.
Wowing audiences with their dynamic live shows, reactions have ranged from crazed, inspired dancing to requests for a biscuit. With high powered tunes featuring sabre-sharp lyrics and riffs with more hooks than velcro, you really can't go wrong.
THE FEATHERS

Rock’n’roll trio - a gang of sussed, sensual girls. Think David Bowie, T.Rex, The Runaways, 60's/70's Rock, Mod, pop, prog and Punk
