Just listened to the stuff - do you want to play in Paris, Bordeaux, Nantes, Rouen, La Rochelle or Rennes?
Nothing guaranteed but we can surely find something on at least a few of these. It's a good circuit to do three or four gigs.

Last year, Them Bird Things stormed onto an unsuspecting Helsinki scene, releasing the most critically acclaimed album of the year, "Fly, Them Bird Things, Fly!" The band's roots, however, go back to 1962 Plattsburgh... formed by singer Salla Day and Mike Brassard and Steve Blodgett of Mike & The Ravens, Day drafted Finnish players into the band to perform songs written by Brassard and Blodgett... to boot, Blodgett and Brassard also make appearances on Them Bird Things recordings... now, the band's second album (produced by yours truly) hits stores... it's on CD and will be on vinyl in two weeks... it can be ordered (and you can stream the album beforehand for a listen) here: http://www.recordshopx.com/artist/them_bird_things/wildlike_wonder/
It's a Finnish store, but they deliver worldwide and the page is in English... besides 11 songs written by Brassard and Blodgett, this new album also contains an unreleased song by Jake Holmes, the man who wrote "Dazed & Confused" (he's suing Jimmy Page over it right now)... his song, "Marionette," has a similar spooky wyrd-folk vibe as evidenced in the more notorious "Dazed & Confused"... visit Them Bird Things site as well to read reviews etc. - www.myspace.com/thembirdthings
cheers a bunch fellas
i'll pass on the info
The Cave is a cool dingy lil place. www.thecave.nl
There is a beat club in Amsterdam. Never been there but here is the link of their website: http://www.amsterdambeatclub.nl/
Alright people?
One of my very good friends has just moved over to Amsterdam to work for a few months. Was wondering if anyone know's about the music scene over there, seems like mostly electro techno rubbish on the surface.
So if anyone knows of any R&R, garage, punk or psycho shows or nights over there get in touch.
Cheers
Wow, I wish!
