some what off topic ,but you guys think of the fender vibro champ xd (vintage modified sieries ) if heard its all tube but with extra gain stages sou you can get hot rod sounds ,tweed sounds ,blackface sounds ,brit sounds etc but im concerd about what the quality of the digi effects (that said i could just get a reissue 63 reverb tank and a tremolo pedal for my effects...

Do you mean you haven't heard their early singles?  I don't have the CD's + DVD box set, but if memory is right, I think they didn't have any great tunes on B-sides except both cover versions of Syd Barrett's "Vegetable man" and the Subway Sect's "Ambition".

And I think early JAMC weren't a great live band.  Actually I have a bootleg of their ealy live, I have played it few times, haha.  But you may found some good tunes, so I donno.

BTW, have you heard the Saints?  I can recommend their CD box set "All Times Through Paradise"!

I was in Rough Trade on Sunday and saw that there were newly published versions of Psychocandy and Just Like Honey, with B-sides, TOTP "performances", interviews and live sessions. Does anyone think it's worth buying?

Incidentally, I used to write for an indie fanzine in South London. They even published my fiction too, which I'm proud of.  

I'm still forgetting something.

Sorry.  I haven't seen...  My fave indie pop bands are the Monochrome Set, Felt, and TV Personalities (are they indie pop band?).  And I like some tunes of (early and mid) the Creation Records' bands.  Biff Bang Pow!, the Loft, early JAMC, early Primal Scream etc...

Hmm, "Liar" was released on 1990. :(

Out of all the shows here at Garage Punk dot com I've found that Bom Bom Lulu  on The Rock 'n' Roll Rampage Radio Show delivers the highest quantity of kick arse kid friendly songs.

Saw Bob Log III a little over a week ago. I waited months for that show, and it was worth it. I do believe it was my third time seeing him.

The Dickies are always great , live. I EVEN SAW 'EM AT A "DANCE" CLUB , AND THE SOUNDMAN CRANKED EVERYTHING UP IN THE RED , BECAUSE , I GUESS HE WAS THE DJ , THERE , IN HIS SPARE TIME. LEONARD HAD TO ASK HIM TO TURN IT DOWN !

yeah, it's kinda funny how Paul Revere and the Raiders got away with so much stuff.  But I think DJs were fading Steppin' Out just as he went into that speil and fading another song in so you never heard it on the radio.  Kids had to buy the single to hear it.  As for the Kingsmen,  everybody was trying so hard to decipher those lyrics (anybody think of actually finding a copy of Richard Berry's record?  When you can make out Berry's vocal, you can actually understand Jack Ely as well when you play them back to back), that they let that expletive between verse 1 and 2 slip by. Ha!
