I just a got a new android phone and I'm having problems downloading apps. It just says it downloading but, never does. I don't know much about these kinda things. Anyone have a solution? I'd love to get this shit working.

I saw them several times when I lived in MSP... the best was when they were on tour with the New York Dolls and a cool Boston band called The Charms.... and then there was the show at The Cabooze which was a blast... both would have been in the mid 2000s some where..

It's not out until September, but he's releasing it along with a sludge metal record, an experimental country record, and a Cajun concept album.....Crazy shit, all of it. But most of it is good. Unfortunately, this one is the exception. But I do love the name "cattlecore" that he made up to describe it.

Hellbilly is the last album i've got, not sure if I can stretch the genre to cattlemetal!

I think you nailed it.....or one of those horrid experimental albums John and Yoko used to do.

23 tracks of speed-metal cattle auctions? Sounds like Hank3's answer to Lou Reed's Metal Machine music.

Has anybody else here heard Hank 3's new "cattlecore" album? It's basically speed metal with cattle auctioneering over top. Overall, I love the concept but I'm not a big fan of the execution. If he had chosen to make this one song on an album, it would have been a great diversion, but by making it a 23 track album, it's overkill.

despite the fact that I have a lot of podcasts to catch up on last year's Gaslight Anthem and the Janelle Monáe record from 2010 keep getting some play from me. Everything else from last year only gets in my ears once and a while.

If i like something enough to purchase it, chances are I won't tire of it quickly.

Thrill seeking is fun.  Some albums are great in the moment others become favourites.  I have my favourite eras but I’ve traded mountains of albums over the years.

I keep my mp3 player loaded with newer music (2005-now) only.

That way the newest tunes don't get lost in the "shuffle"...
