2720 Cherokee - never been there. I might be able to swing that. Thanks for the heads up, Ryan. Keep me in mind if there are other regional fests in the future that you're debating about. With a little forethought, I can get involved. This one snuck up on me since I was entangled with the Shanks tour/Gonerfest.
Hey Dave, KK/Shrines along w/ Gentlemen Jesse will be playing St. Louis Sunday night. Maybe you can catch them then?

I know several people who have lived in Lawrence and testify to it's coolness. I'd love to go to this but can't due to circumstances. I missed seeing the Lamps and Thee Oh Sees at Goner and would like to catch Tyvek and KK & the Shrines. I got the fever but I'm quarantined.

Fantastic film. Fantastic band.
Thanks for posting, it's really good. Anyone in a band should watch this, they do it for the music. That's why I love garage so much, it sounds real.
I'm going to see the Fleshtones at the 31st Street Pub here in Pittsburgh next month on the 22nd, and they will share the bill with the Cynics. They did this once before in March 2002, and it was the best night I ever had at the Pub.
The Fleshtones are coming to St. Louis in November for the Beat 'n' Soul fest. Really looking forward to this as it's been something like 20 years since they were last here. Come on down!
We saw The Fleshtones a coupla weeks ago for the first time in many years. They have NOT slowed down at all, in fact the show we saw recently was the WILDEST we've ever seen them!!!! If you ever get a chance to see The Fleshtones, DO NOT miss them!! Greatest live band I've ever seen!!!!! And some of the nicest people you'll ever meet!
Thanks a lot for the link !
The Rolling Stones......icons of the rock & roll world as we know it...hey thanks for all the cool toons!!!!

Did Ratoonie just put a lil burn on us??? LOL!
ratoonie said:sorry * but the Stones and the Who have absolutly nothing in common!!!!!
Stampy said:Vicki Dave said:I liked the early Stones. My favorite is probably, "Get Off of My Cloud" "Gimme Shelter" and "Can't You Hear Me Knockin'" Pretty good too, tho, I have never really been a Stones Fan or even The Who for that matter. Played out.
Just to digress a little I've been told by a member of Derek's Accent that their music style was heavily based on The Who. Makes sense when you think about it!
