http://www.last.fm/user/tobilynne What features are you having trouble with?
Yes I am but I'm kind of stupid and can't figure some features out
My apologies if this has already been discussed (did a search, though, and couldn't find anything). Is anyone else using Last.fm?
Sorry Rod. That 2 hours flew by, and honestly that question never entered my mind. Rockin Rod Strychnine said:

AWESOME! HELLA SWELL!
Now, that streaming business is all fine and dandy BUT you fine guys just (PLEASE) GOT to record that as a downloadable podcast!
You are right, I could just snap it off the net with a audio-recording device when it airs, but I will be away from the internets at that time this is on, most possibly, so... big sissy wheep if I won't get to hear that one!
right now its dirty robber by the fabulous wailers

For the past week it has been Esquece by Os Ekos. I really can't get enough of that song, even though I know only a very small amount of Portuguese. As for all time, Johnny Thunders One Track Mind gives me goosebumps every god damn time. Also, I get shaky when I hear the Searcher's version of Needles and Pins.
Right now my favorite rock n roll song of all time is "Ghost On the Highway" by the Gun Club.
But with either one, it will take at least two months before you see any loot. iTunes and Amazon take 6 to 8 weeks to report sales figures, apparently. With the new Malarians (the US garage band, not the Spanish ska band) reissues, I used Tunecore for IN THE COOL ROOM and CD Baby for KNOW/FINISHED IN THIS TOWN. The jury's out on which one is better, but with Tunecore, you get Amazon CD-on-Demand, where fans can get CDs of your mp3 album.
If you want to do this, use TuneCore. They're great, relatively inexpensive, and they'll get your music on all of the main music retail sites. By the way, there's a topic about offering digital downloads on the Labels & Distros group, too (just an FYI).
CD Baby is good for CDs. It has a program to get your albums onto iTunes, Amazon and other download services. When I joined a few years ago it only cost $30-$35 to get you set up. I just have one CD (recorded in the early 80s) and I've made dozens of dollars. http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/terrell
I'm checkin' some infos about selling your band's music on line. It looks that iTunes is the main one, while others are not available in Europe.
I can't say much about it 'cause I even tried. What do you think about it?
I thought all rock'n'rollers went straight to hell! What's this "heaven" shit? ;)
RIP Lux, you will surely be missed.
But this one was like a bad car wreck... S.Law said:

Well Cabaret Voltaire were weird so I'm not surprised they knew it. I'm sure their fans didn't.
Here's what it sound like.

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
I love the Pixies but the Yardbirds version is unsurpassed.
I don't know if it's technically a classic, but "Feral" by the Gories.
