I thought Thin Lizzy did a song called JailBREAK (and don't confuse that with the tune by AC-DC) Wipeout! said:

Best Live band i've seen in a long time is The Amino Acids from detroit. Dont miss a chance to see this band.
okie dokie, charlie & the moonhearts, audacity, traditional fools...
out with a bang!
Shake it like a Caveman
Hex Dispensers
Always appreciate R. Fink's efforts on Rock 'n' Roll Suicide to bring us new bands. What sort of new stuff are you guys listening to these days?
Personally, I've really been into Ty Segall's side projects, Wau y Los Arrgh's, and some of the Slovenly Records 7-inches lately. And not really garage, but I've been digging hardcore band No Friends. They just put out a solid LP on No Idea records.
Who the hell cares about two shitty bands having a fight.....if you like either,cool....but this has nothing to do with the music that either play...the music is what you should be talking about...both suck!HA!Has anybody heard that the Black Lips eat tuna casserole?No...because it dont meen fuck all!ERK!
Who the fuck is Wavves?
Who the fuck wrote this piece of shit article or blog?
Who the fuck cares?
Boring... both bands suck
Google is your friend in such things! Just google "the insects" band and you have the answer - it is/was already in use. In times of internet I'm always confused how bands can form with names that are already in use. Could think they don't do any research ...
I'v always liked The Insects. I dunno if it's been used though. Probably has.
sad sad news indeed.Blue Cheer was probably the first stonerrock band ever. i saw them like 3 times it was always a pleasure to see them rock like there's no tomorrow.
magnolia caboose babyfinger, come and get it & out of focus are my favorites but i also love their later stuff
Dickie Peterson, you will be missed
love
tobi joi
"Summertime Blues", greatest cover ever. They did a killer cover of "Parchman Farm" as well. Thanks for the kick ass sounds, Dickie.

I think Kopper needs to round up some GP record labels that have wikipedia page and have them link to GPPN wikipage. It'll help with the missing notoriety within the wiki network. And kopper, do all your editing at work, without being logged in.

Johnny, I have no idea who that guy is. But it doesn't surprise me. Wikipedia's editors are notorious for being pains in the ass. In hindsight I guess I should've created a separate login before I did any of that editing... none of which was "major," by the way. I was simply updating it so it was correct! So it appears as though Wikipedia has flagged the GaragePunk.com page for several issues... notability, linking, conflict of interest, and references. See below: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GaragePunk_Podcast_Network I can't touch it. I need someone else to go in and fix it so that they're happy. I thought it was fine before... and it probably was until someone saw that I'd made a couple changes and put two and two together. I know a few of you guys have contributed to its development in the past, so I'm hoping you guys can go in and fix it so that they're happy. But it looks like the few edits I've made (after it was already set up by someone else, mind you), caused Wikipedia to flag it as being "edited by a person who has a conflict of interest with the subject matter." Johnny, just go back in and restore the edits and then argue with him about it on the page's discussion page. What you posted above is all you really need to say. Thanks!
I dont likes em all that much...never really got em or cared for em.....Im sure there are people on here...who go nuts for them and probablY disagree with what I have to say....but I dont care...cos Im right!HA!Different strokes for .....yadda,yadda,yack,yack!
Seeing them live in San Francisco definitely confirmed that I hate them now. Seeing them headline FYF Fest made me forget I ever liked them.
Seen the Black Lips a few times..they used to put on a really good show. Now its..i dunno..really odd. Best album Los Valientes...200 million thousand could have been better. Elijah's great, I'll be with you too...As people they're alright. Jared gave me and my friend free shirts, Ian's chatty as hell, Joe played an encore alone and Cole's uh well he's a looker. oh his Old King Cole Younger's stuff's pretty good

Hows about 'Arthur Sleep'. My personal favourite
Sad news.
Here's the official story from the LA Times: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/music_blog/2009/10/local-punk-champion-masque-founder-brendan-mullen-dies.html Brendan and I were in Arthur J and The Goldcups in 1978 and he was nice enough to let me live at The Masque when I was homeless. I used to work at the club as well and love him or not, he accomplished more with the LA music scene than a lot of people ever will. RIP you devil.
