Oh man Kopper, would you provide overnight shipping? I ordered a pair of shoes there once at like 7:30pm and they were on my door step at 9am the next morning.

Goshdarn, I love this place!
I hate the look of ancient internet formus (NOT speaking of the old GP forums - I've never been there...YIKES!) and also crap like Myspace, (sorrysorrySORRY!) or Facebook.
I'd love to see the many GP bands that are on Myspace come here and use this. Because the Hideout just rings me up as something different than most a those sites and a crazy good amalgam of all things the internet can serve as.
It took me a while myself to get in on it but it's just a lot of fun. And yes that's a reason for me to stick around.
I love the "social network" frame on here to view pics, video and music directly by the bands or DJ's or dancers or whoever. As well as a tie in to all the other things people got going. Tourdates, trading, new records, podcasts of course... bring it on! The whole thing's working fine for me - and just for the record: All the different groups do too!
Like many on this thread here said: Use the blues or loose the blues ;) Not that I have been to busy here either...BLEH!

Uhm, I mean this forum. This here.
I think I'll try this.
Guess I should post this, since I bet many of you don't even realize it exists! http://groups.google.com/group/garagepunk Yep, an old-fashioned Bomp-list/Banana-Truffle-style email list/newsgroup. Join it if you care to. Cheers, kopper
Hey podcasters and fans, what kinda Podcast would you like to see played on the mighty GARAGEPUNK? Except yours of course...
What content, and what direction. What moderation.
Not that what's going isn't more than enough, but is there anything else yer dreaming of????
Me?
I'd love to see/hear a spanish show. So many great Bands and music coming from there.
Just dropping by to yell that SAVAGE KICK is Awesome Radiomaking - even if it's a podcast ;)=
Great rythm to the whole programm, excellent mood. And it's totally alive and original! Yes, I love the Savage Kick!
HAW HAW!
I love it to death.
Anybody knows of any place where you can read old album reviews? 60's to early 80's is what I'm interested in.
I won a frozen chicken once, I don't do well at competitions.
Hmmm, well I've never won anything in my life, so hopefully this will be the first
The photos of the original Garage era bands from the 60's (in the photo collage contest) are the best!
MyRareGuitars.com/Eastwood Guitars is running a banner ad on the Hideout for a contest that you would be STUPID not to enter. Check it out here (or click the banner ad when you see it): http://www.myrareguitars.com/three_ways_to_win.html Dig it.
We love this place!
and I know that since we are new, that we havent even begun to really use it for all that we can...
I love finding like-minded folks, great bands from all over the globe and then trying to find them in the other places we lurk (myspace, Freeform radio stations, Podcasts)...you know networking!
especially if, for instance, the small town you live in isnt too keen on your music-
there's a whole other world in the hideout!
Just sayin'.
I'll do it!

Yep, I got that! And yeah there's a good load of noise coming from this duo. Hhaha! Mr. Jim: If you'd live where I live, you would be happy about every band coming around, Heheheh! I'm the more so 'cause I dig 'em both - a lot. If I read you right, you don't, so I can see your "nay nay" on that.IDON MINE said:just so there's no confusion, the Dex Romweber Duo is opening up for the Detroit Cobras. and yes, does seem like a very inspired pairing. be fun to see them in ATL!I also find cool that they are bringing the Cobras around. Hopefully they can drag them over here too. It seems like a very natural team up.

Didn't mean no disrespect to Sara a'tall ...I dig about half of the new record and just overjoyed that Dex is still out there makin' it happen w/ her help... But Sam was good to me, esp. in regards to gettin' to see Dex and I bummed that there's no Cola-town show, tis all. now, the Cobras on the other hand ...a bunch o' screws, that bunch...but that's another tale.....wash yer mouth out! Sara's the best thing musically that's ever happened to him! biz-wise, too. besides, Sam was never ever at the helm of anything except his one way path to self-destruction.
