"The Human Mertzes" - Plan 9. Their last (Good) album , prior to reforming , "Sea Hunt" contains the 13 minute title track , and the prevously mentioned , 13 Seconds long , track , back to back.

My friend , Brad Warner (Dimentia 13 , Filmmaker - "Cleveland's Screaming.") , was on a Cleveland Hardcore comp where bands competed to write and record the shortest song , meaning at least one verse. The band that won clocked in at about two seconds....

HC does'nt do it  for me , anymore , but ,that IS pretty hilarious.

Roky Erickson - "I'm a Demon". The first version , seemingly , to turn up was easily less than 30 seconds long , only to find out it was one verse of a longer song , still easily under two minutes.

Lot of Pixies´s songs (on surfer rosa & come on pilgrim, for ex.) are shorter than 2 min.  The shortest (0:45) would be "you fucking die!" if we do admit it as a song.

There's also "e.y.o.b." (Eat Yourself Out , Baby") by The Nip Drivers. It's actually a medley , of sorts , back to back with a hilarious (Tho' infinitely superior)modified cover version of "RIO' BY Duran Duran. POP - PUNK BEFORE IT SUCKED.........Both tracks , togethe r, could'nt be well above one minute.

"Tight Pants" by The Stooges. Granted , it's the rough draft for "Shake Appeal". It clocks in a Two minutes (Minus the fade at the end) because , like "It Should Be You" by The Rolling Stones , THE ONLY VERSION THAT APPEARS TO EXIST IS CUT OFF DURING THE GUITAR SOLO.

Len Price 3 are ace! We're currently hammering Jay Reatard'sBlood Visionsand there a few ace tunes on there that come in under the 2 minute mark, the title track being one perfect slice.
