Pretty interesting game being released this week by Team Bondi/Rockstar Games, L.A. Noire:

I love old film noir stuff and crime/detective novels, so this looks really cool. My only problem is I don't own a PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. Too bad it's not available for Wii.

Imyself am not the greatest Mafia fan, but this one had me look twice. I'm afraid it's not out for the Wii, but it got the PC treatment if that helps. Don't think there's a Mac version.

By the way, have you heard the Wii 2 news?

And oh yeah, I'm sure you've seen these, but wanted to drop them anyhow:

MAD WORLD for the Wii: http://www.g4tv.com/games/wii/51783/madworld/review/ A pretty crazy action game that came out a while ago.

Lucha Libre aaa heroes for the Wii: http://www.g4tv.com/games/wii/63550/lucha-libre-aaa-heroes-of-the-ring/ Don't know if it's any good gameplay wise, but hey: Lucha Libre?

Yeah, that looks cool, although I'm not nearly into the Mafia stuff as much as the old detective novel/pulp noir stuff. Is that one available for Wii?

Yes, this looks pretty amazing. I've been looking forward to this one as well, I personally favour this type of world to the GTA sort. Won't get to play this in a while yet though.

When I get to it,I might cut some videos of the funny stuff that happens when you play open world games. Cop car chases and all.

By the way, have you heard of/seen Mafia 2? That's one crazy game! Post WWII time, The graphics are really great and it has the tone and mood perfect down to every coke bottle you can drink for refreshment and headlight you can crash when the cops tail you. They have a large set of classic cars but driving these big beasts crash free can be a pain, I can tell you.

The soundtrack is great as well, with a huge selection of tunes from the likes of Little Richard, Buddy Holly, Frankie Laine and Ritchie Valens... the list goes on. They did a good job there.
