I just posted my latest column in the Record Reviews group here -- I reviewed a couple of one-mans, Poor Boy's Soul and O Lendário Chucrobillyman, who is from Brazil.

      That's here:

      http://garagepunk.ning.com/group/recordreviews/forum/topics/terrell-s-tune-up-one-man-armies

It was published in The Santa Fe New Mexican last week.

Also I did a one-man band set on my local radio show.

      Here's my playlist:

Coconut Road by O Lendário Chucrobillyman
      Chicken Hop by Hasil Adkins
      Hang On by BBQ
      Ratfink by Bloodshot Bill
On the Prowl by WolfBoy Slim & His Dirty Feets
Make You Say Wow by Bob Log III
Factory Dog by John Schooley & His One-Man Band
Feed the Family by Possessed by Paul James
Hang Your Head and Cry by Scott H. Biram
Introducing Chuck Violence by Chuck Violence
Coal Black Mattie by Richard Johnston
Throwing Stones by Poor Boy's Soul

Sorry for the non-creativity, but Dick Dale is #1 when it comes to guitar work, but Dead Elvis is a great choice

He is very cool. Derek (Bloodshot Bill ) is a good friend of mine. It's eatin' my heart out that I won't be able to see his return to the stage , here. He cracks me up , man......

Homer (Phil Bennison) goes way back to the tail end of the Ft. Worth Teen Scene , and into the early Psych/Hard Rock days....He played in the early Teddy and The Tall Tops lineup (With Jim Heath - Rev. Horton Heat.) in the Early 80's. They were the first band I ever saw with my own  ID , but I only caught two songs  : ( .  I saw him a few years ago , with his Blues shuffle band , on a bill with Ray Sharpe. GOOD times. I've seen his one man band a couple of times , too. He claims that all you can do , in his position , is Bo Diddley and Jimmy Reed , then proves himself wrong with his versatility. He killed at last year's Ponderosa Stomp , on his own , and with Eve and The Exiles.

....My new favorite one man band is Jerry Van Dyke as the "Sultan's Favorite" Exotic Dancer's

backing musician , with a speech impediment and confidence issues , who's a hero in the end , on "The Andy Griffith Show".

Mina , One Rabbit Bands are musicians who are'nt men or women , but, rabbits.

NoBunny , being the best known , is actually a Jackalope (Part Rabbit , Part Antelope.).

Drum Chicken is a Rabbit (Who thinks he's a chicken.) that plays the drums .

      Mina said:

Yeah Margaret Doll Rod is cool. I almost had her perform in my town, but then the touring schedule changed or something. Too bad.

WTF are one rabbit bands? :D

Homer Henderson , Bloodshot Bill  , Msr Jefferey Evans (solo) , King Louie ,  Earwig Spectre .....

One WOMAN Bands - Cordell Jackson , Margaret Doll Rod , Honkitonkioke.

One RABBIT bands - NoBunny ,Drum Chicken.

There's others.....I've always been a Hasil Adkins fan , but , I need to step away from his music now and then. We had a One Man Band Festival here , several years ago , and it was amazing how many people could'nt get past aping Hasil.
