George Romero´s zombie classic. Which one you prefer?
The original black and white or the color version. I dig the color treat very much, but i also treasure the original black and white classic as one of the finest moments in modern horror world. I guess the colors emphasize scenes a bit differently. Like just now i noticed the psychedelic pink tie with black dots that Barbara´s obnoxious brother was wearing before hitting terminally his head in tombstone. I wonder if there´s more old classics that need similar boost like this one.

To me, no horror film ever made can beat the original b&w Night of the Living Dead. Judith O'Dea pointed out that in most horror movies you wait 45 minutes before you see the monster. In Night, the terror begins immediately, you see everything, and no one survives.

B&W. Colour version was the first one I saw, bought it on video just over twenty years ago, it looked a bit weird but I didn't care it was so fucking good. So long as it's not that horrible 30th anniversary pile of shit.

B&W version by far. This was one of the first horror films I ever bought and I still enjoy watching it

I am currently reading Max Brooks (Mel Brooks kid) other book "World War Z (the Zombie War). Pretty cool. I hear they may make a film out of it too. I'd pay to see that.

Has anyone seen Romero's "Diary of the Dead" yet? I saw it on the Marquee of our local rep house, but when I came back it was gone! Post it here.

Fulci's Zombi is one hell of a good flick too. Especially the infamous eye scene (watch it, you'll know what I mean) and zombie vs. shark.
