  Oh yea, also, to reply more specifically to the original post: It's not brand new, but the band, Cave, from Chicago are awesome. Their album NEVERENDLESS on Drag City is great, and they're super good live.

  Lets see.... I went to the Redwood Bar near the end of summer and saw The Maxines (most recent is the the Drugstore 7") and Magic Trash (The Way I'm Livin' 7" e.p.) It was a spectacular night with Wounded Lion headlining.

  Also, a band I've yet to see (I don't get out like I usedta could) but am very excited about is the Savage Gospel, a duo featuring Brian Waters (Flash Express, Countdowns) and Jorge from the Red Onions.
