hey there. i'm a rock n roller living in the NW who loves hearing and making a racket. i've been in a few bands out here since i started playing drums in 2000. i drive a cab and ride a motorcycle and rock out. i've been in a band called THEE HEADLINERS since 2001 and we just put out our third full length, The Kids Are Awry. we're giving it away on our new website. i hope ya take it and spread the word!
"Thee Headliners are a two piece rock and soul band from Portland, Oregon that consists of Holly “Hotbox” Morgan on drums and vocals and Jeremy “JT Halmfilst” Terry on guitar and vocals. Forged from the ashes of a harsh breakup between Holly and JT, Thee Headliners began as a duo over 11 years ago, transforming their former love energy into musical energy based on their shared love of raw sounds, mutual desire for evolution & forgiveness plus their need to rock the fuck out!!!
Many friends have helped along the way with singing and playing, for many shows and many recordings!!
Other Bands : JT is currently rocking in AUDIOS AMIGOS and former bands include: THE BROKEN PROMISES, END OF THE WEST, BEERCHASER, HAUTE RETARD, PARTY COUNTRY, VICTOR, MISS RAE AND THE ROYAL FAMILY, THE PASSED OUT FLYERS, FIREWOOD, and THE MURDERERERS to name too many. Holly was in THE NEARLY DEADS, THE PIST’UNS and BRAINHOLE and some other bits and bobs…both have been members of THE JUANITA FAMILY AND FRIENDS at the same time as well as numerous other side projects with Miss LANA REBEL.
we are self releasing our third full length recording, THE KIDS ARE AWRY in May of 2012!
we also have a 7” forthcoming on Sonic Jett Records.
our first full length cd THE HEADLINERS was released by SE Outlaw Records in 2005.
we self released a cd EP, “NEW” in 2007.
our second full length lpcd RAIN & BLOOD was released by Starcleaner Records in 2009.
also self released a cassette called OLD NEW BORROWED AND BLUE in 2011.
