Free Vintage Car show in downtown Glendale, CA... Performance by Paul Revere & The Raiders....(Though neither Mark Lindsey or Fang are in the photo of the current lineup)
Try Iowa City. Might be a little short notice as far as booking goes, but I think on the right night you'd probably do well at several of the venues there. Besides, it's more or less right on the way between Omaha and Chicago. My favorite place to play is The Mill (http://icmill.com/), also try the Yacht Club (http://www.iowacityyachtclub.org), Gabe's (http://www.iowacitygabes.com/) and the Blue Moose Taphouse (http://bluemooseic.com/). Good luck.
...on Friday, August 26th. We're rolling between Omaha and Chicago that day and need a place to sow our oats. Any recommendations?
ALSO ALSO ALSO: If any Chicago locals want to hop on a bill, we've got a gig at Pancho's on the 27th and need someone to play with!

Click here. Play it on a podcast! Or go to our website to download the entire album for free. entire album for free.
Theres a big Salvation Army thrift store there. Last summer I found a copy of The Starfires "I never loved her" and a shit load of other garage and surf 45's! Other than that......NO!
So the wife wants me to go down to Montana and spend a weekend at her parents' timeshare in Whitefish. Is there anything at all cool in the area, or is it a lost cause? Any record stores, cool bars, ANYTHING? Google has NOT been helpful.
Our radio show, the Late Risers' Club, is on WMBR in the Boston/Cambridge area every Mon-Fri. from 10AM-noon EST. Some people might argue that 10-noon isn't so late but you *can* rock out in the morning at 88.1 FM or http://laterisersclub.org (I do Thursdays). Check out http://wmbr.org for some other shows in the garage, rock and indie vein (it changes every 1-2 hours). Thanks.
69 Noses is playing at Lemmon's in St. Louis on Sunday October 16th. Is anyone looking to add a band to a gig relatively nearby on the 14th or 15th? Perhaps around Lawrence, Kansas City or Columbia? Anyone know of a good place to start looking?
Thanks!
69 Noses

Thanks a lot Jenni, I'll come back to you if i have show in Madison, sounds great for us to go there ;-) have a nice day ! cheers, Sylvie
Hi there! So glad to hear you are coming to the US.
Please don't skip the Midwest! Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison are great places to play, though it may be a bit cold that time of year still.
I have a garage/punk radio show in Madison, Wisconsin, called the Leopard Print Lounge, and would be happy to promote any show you would play here, but sadly I am not a booking agent. Here's some venues to contact in Madison:
Mickey's Tavern - contact Liz at mickeystavern.liz@gmail.com
High Noon Saloon - info at http://www.high-noon.com, contact Cathy at booking@high-noon.com
The Frequency - info at http://www.madisonfrequency.com/home/booking, contact Darwin at booking@madisonfrequency.com
I would be happy to provide you with a place to stay if you decide to visit Madison.
Let me know if you need any additional information and I will do my best.
Jenni
