    • Any record nerds know of any cool record shops in San Diego? I know you probably don't want to give away your secret gem mines... but I have an addiction I need to feed so I need to ask.

I'm moving to North SD County this week and might have to do a little exploring.

So far the only stores I know of are Taang, and Lou's in Encinitas and neither of those really have a good selection of used vinyl, especially 45s.

    • Oh man... I saw that douche security guard the other day at my work.... I guess he does security for some TV shows as he was working at a filming of the HBO show "Life". That guy is such a goon... he acted the same as Mr. T's when I saw him the other day. Sectmaniac said:

Too bad T's didn't work out, I love it there. How about the Bordello?

I agree, I also like Mr. T's, but I can't deal with the owner anymore. He raises the price of booze and beer at MY shows only, he refuses to get a second bartender, and the security is out of control there... if he would work with me I'd do it there again in a split second, but he's stubborn.

This time with our friends Mama Tried (the super entertaining all Merle Haggard tribute/worshiping band) and the one-man show of Rob Femur (otherwise known as The Femurs). We are Headlining this show and we will have special guests sitting in, and it will be worth it to stay up late to see us play. Keepa Rockin'! Here is my Poster for the show! Plus a cool poster by Big Beat Bob of Mama Tried!
