    • I love your purple '64 fish! You should join the EVBC (Early Valiant & Barracuda Club) e-mail list: http://groups.google.com/group/evbc-list I sold my '65 Barracuda back in March. I miss it, but at least I have a good reliable daily driver now that I don't have to work on every time I turn around. I still love old cars, but they're just not practical for daily use, especially with a family and stuff. Xändu Langbogen said:

Totally agree - even as most of the crowd thinks about the mighty 70th Mopars (Challenger, 'Cuda, Charger), there some weird 60th mopars on the road.

My favorite one is just a little fish:

Still in my garage, two years older (a 64 instead of 66):

I love it... (still, even as I want to sell that one)
Nobody loves it as it's no bigtail car of the fifties, no muscle car of the seventies... just a tiny, little mid-60s A-Body..

    • Wanted to post some pics of my new ride. Got her back in April in Kansas City. It's an '07 Dodge Magnum SXT (couldn't afford the Hemi V8 R/T, but this one has plenty of get-up-and-go!):

    • B&W. Colour version was the first one I saw, bought it on video just over twenty years ago, it looked a bit weird but I didn't care it was so fucking good. So long as it's not that horrible 30th anniversary pile of shit.

    • So glad this group exists... I hope those of us with (much) less impressive rides can still share.

Although I've dreamed of a '71 Hemicuda since I was about 13, I only recently got my first car, and it is a purple 1995 geo tracker.  Geo trackers have gained a bit of a cult following, any fans around?
Although it doesn't fulfill my adolescent muscle car fantasies, I'm still very proud of him and plan to properly deck him out, as far as aesthetics, not mechanics are concerned.
This is more of a design topic, but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for turning buttons into toggle switches or has tried that kind of modification at all?

I know I'll get flamed to hell for this but....Fightclub. I'm sorry but I really just don't get what all the big hoopla is about this film. To me it was a 20 minute short film stretched out to two hours. The part where the guy beats himself up in his boss's office is an absolute joke. Another super popular film that I don't care for is American Beauty. If a guy can't stand his boring middle class existence then why wait until you're in your 40s and then start rebelling from it all by jogging and listening to the Who? That's really a sick and pathetic attempt. If you're gonna have a second childhood you're gonna have to try a little harder. Oh, and come to think of it Juno didn't do anything for me either. Square upper middle class people should stop trying to be as hip and cool as slumming hipsters. Sorry, it doesn't work. Another movie about an aging guy who wants to relive or improve upon his childhood. He had some good taste at least with The Wizard Of Gore but I don't think a guy who likes Herschell would be in that situation in the first place. Maybe I'm wrong. Also, Juno is the biggest attempt at trying to be cool by name dropping I've ever seen in my life. And what 16 year old knows who Mario Bava is? Come on.

    • Juno was the horrible. In addition to a horrible plot and what not, but I can't stand Kimya Dawson and was forced to listen to that god forsaken Moldy Peaches song everyday for a month at work. It was the worst kind of torture. The Ills said:

    • This really crappy disaster flick with Randy Quad and Shannon Doherty. I think it's called Category 7.

    • Another fucking social networking site with members becoming apparently ever cooler. The the "checking in" bit made me puke a little bit in my mouth. My blood is now boiling at the thought of more "random" folk I vaguely know posting holiday photos on facebook, tweeting their bank details and then "checking in" to grab a coffee.
